Virigoth: As a founder and coder I learned alot about the way DIKU works and built alot of new things for the game.

Avariel: Actually I didn't enjoy playing this one too much.

Malchaeius: I've enjoyed workin here, and have done alot of good coding work to help the game. But after this plot is done i'll be takin a leave and given it all to anume.

Sirican. He was very fun to play. RP and PK. It was nice to join Nexus (the only one) while they were warring with WM and Knight who were totally buff at the time. They haven't lost their foothold I helped them gain since. Hehe. And I still have that sign. :)

Kongol. Who doesn't love a big drunk homophobic stone giant?

Both of these chars were Elders too.

lol @ mali.

my fav 3:

tophet: the FIRST demon warrior in the game. tattooed, elder in CHAOS, and had owner only gauntlets ("inscribed black gloves", where my forum name came from). played him at a time when KNIGHTS were stacked (siddion, feldor and vadigon, good lord) and not many people were in CHAOS . needless to say he ended up condead. still my favorite character to date.

aberock: one of the first crusaders post-beta. he hit 50 with dunlith and TDP's ogre zerk (i forget his name). after TDP deleted his ogre zerk (as usual), i got appointed captain of the guard for marak by dunlith even though i was human. was a part of the group that completed Siddion's ascension to the heavens plot (the entire group was me, Elyventhril, Dandaar, Delphina, Albert, Bellia, Llyros, and Garamand).

draiken: the last emperor of the original miruvhor. i retired him once miruvhor was revamped into its current form. i won some auction held by the immortal Vaelinn by offering a custom built room in my palace in his honor. my prize was a dragon slayer, back before it was an easily obtained reward for a certain quest. i outlawed pretty much everyone who i didn't like. Draiken spawned a couple of forum flames which pleased me to no end, because of the amount of people he outlawed. the only actual kills i ever got with him were from assassinations, and he had a horrible pk record, but he was much fun to play, and spawned more forum flames than any other character of mine.

edit: the only reason i came across Vaelinn's auction was because i was studying that ranger Sashe for an assassination, and Sashe ended up going to the auction. the auction seemed like more fun than killing a ranger so i went with that.

Vindelah - She was fun hot and hardout, I had like 40+ aliases set up for her and I think I did pretty well with that hottie.

Liethiri - He was fun, even though he was extremely bugged I had fun running around using my happy uber skill.

Gaagazl - My ogre warrior in WM, I managed to beat messalantha with him

but no one wanted to give me the credit because when she was in awful some newbie invoker walked in and hellstreamed her.... soo gay.

Sadly I can't remember the names of my characters. I've had so many it's ridiculous. And with a 2+ year hiatus, and a new PC, no way to refresh my memory, here's a couple I remember.

Kearnean: Way back in beginning mid 1.0, like the second thief in Knight. Really tried to learn the concept of RP with him, Never pinned, got stuck at 47 with like a 250k exp hole. Loved his hairy feet, he couldn't wear anything but sandals because he couldn't fit his feet in them. :-p

Purthak: Dwarf Warrior Knight Elder. Tylith's day. Tried really hard to figure out a "dwarven accent" for him, always struggled with that. Learned the solid basics of pk with this one. At one point he became a pretty decent power house. Probably my first over all successful character.

Anarchant: Demon, DK. He had the best RP ever. Valek, you remember your Faerie that called him "daddy" all the time? Good times. He was originally made to be a powerhouse pk machine, but I loved his RP so much I had more fun RP'ing with him than PK.

Corinkorth - One of my favorite ogre rangers(of the many). Managed to get Tribunal elder about 12 times before I packed it in. Interacted with a lot of people that made the game really enjoyable.

Reseraht - My first dk. My first drow. Utter failure, could never get my malform above level 7. Ara got a kill on me and I lost my malform and packed it in. Iraekiira was AMAZING to RP with and one of my greatest regrets was missing interactions with her after deletion.

Thandaeus - This is one probably my favorite of all time. Got Knight Elder and had a blast all the way through it. Raargant(miss him IMMing) gave me a shot to get into Knight if I killed Covus(shaman pandemonium E). I have no idea how but I pulled it off and since all of Knight was Sigil he made me T from induction. Was a blast.

Anyone else ever seen DK as a class that you either do pretty darn good with....or totally suck with? I am one of the latter....I have never been able to grasp DKs that well. Always wanted to' date=' too....especially after being a laughing stock up against LA's DK[/quote']

No. I think most people do mediocre with them. They'll get a malform to level 5 or 6 or so, but eventually die and delete because of all the work so quickly lost. Consider Reseraht, that's how Anarchant got deleted, had two lvl 5 6 malforms and a polearm lvl 4 or something and lost them all in a stupid dead due to connection problems.

Some people will absolutely stink with a DK, VERY few will ever do _well_ with one. IMO "well" means lvl 10s and some serious ownage across the p-base. Because that is just kinda the expectation for a DK. I think they're held to a higher standard of PK ability than most other classes. DK's and vamps, IMO are just EXPECTED to be powerhouses, and if they aren't. People usually equate that to "unsuccessful", because both have such a great potential to own in almost any kind of a PK situation.

I guess my definition of doing good with a DK is a bit biased based on the sole fact that I am positively horrible with them...so anyone able to get a lvl6+ malform in my eyes is doing something right!

I've never gotten a DK to have more than a lvl3 malform lol

My vamps were failures.

I should just stick to battlemages lol

Werebeast Ranger Marina Orim the Honored Child of Dymmeria(sp), Heraldric Leader. Was hand picked by Shandronas to be his replacement as Leader of the Heralds, was the only mortal that accepted the Warmaster Gods challenge for a duel, Mhalador(sp) I do believe, got the Spear of Courage, Got Dymmeria's Tattoo and owner only called the Memoirs of Marina Orim, last but not quite forgotten, Marina was to marry the Noble Knight Epurican, but he condied playing a game of darts only 10 minutes RL time before the wedding...

Human Psionicist Cordain Nomico the Master of the Sixth Sense. Was one of the Justice to be on during the game to see which cabal could keep the Coin the longest, got the Ring of Champions for winning. Was about to be made Elder with Murat when Gorthae was made Leader cause he wanted to form a "Tribunal" where we would run the Justice Cabal together, each of us representing all walks of life. Had a kill+capture to death ratio of 59/2 not as good as some, but with Gorthae's tips I was really coming into my own...too bad the Pwipe came then.

Human/Avatar Invoker Ylanah the Queen of Marak. Was an Elder of Knight with an Owner Only from Sirant called the Crystal Staff of Duke Dushivant for my devotion to him before getting hitched to Dunlith, also got the Owner Only Crystal Pendant of the Tower for helping Clariana rise to Immortality once more. Lunima, Dunlith, and Murat were my companions on that joyous little plot.

This one?

Oh wait... That's Pali. ;)

F*** you.

With love! ;)

My three favorites, in no particular order...

1) Ilendriel. Out of all of the characters I've had in my 8+ years here, this one had probably the most in-game unplanned development of all of them. I made him to be a char I could just kill time with when I was bored, and he ended up being titled twice, nobled, made leader of Shasarazade, and was undefeated in PK. He participated in some of the best RP sessions I've ever seen here (the players of Orodreth, Laahlahni, Burich, and Wurven get major kudos for many of them), and memories of playing him are a large part of the reason I stick around here.

2) Galadran. My second place char for most in-game development. To my knowledge he was the first good ninja to pinn in FL's history, which at the time led to a lot of great RP regarding how being good and being honorable in battle relate to each other... he lost his membership in Hunter because his personal sense of honor forced him to ignore a bounty on Kentry, who he had sworn an oath of non-aggression with. That his best friend was evil (Tetsunai) also led to some incredible RP moments, sometimes with us fighting each other in very intense and emotional moments, sometimes with us working together and helping each other at very unexpected times. He was also the only good I've had that ever seriously considered killing another good because Galadran was in love with his wife. ;) It was incredibly fun being a terror of all the evils (particularly evil Justices) of his time... I've not had a char since that inspired people to log off so well.

3) Xxtyx. In many ways, I reinvented Illithid RP with this character. I modeled him very much on the Borg... he was a drone worker without any thoughts of his own, serving simply as a proxy for the Hive mind of the Illithid. I created him partially in response to an often-heard complaint that many races aren't RPed as different races but more as humans with different stats... I wanted to make a character that was truly different psychologically from everyone else. The idea of him being a set of eyes for the Hive in the surface world allowed some great RP moments with the various cabals, with even Avatars, Knights and Stalkers being willing to take the time to explain their philosophies and motivations to me.

Ranser - Human thief, Watcher Elder of Warder.

Has to be one of my best chars, never really planned anything with him and just grew and grew RP wise, though my Pk with him SUCKED :D. I have to saw he is one of my best chars ever.

Yulrych human druid, Watcher Trusted of Stalker.

Another good char, got much better with PK because of him and I would like to think that my Rp with him was good as well. Learned a lot from him on things like equipment, items, staves, wands, and others like it. Fought a lot of strong enemies and held my own for most of the time.

Raniku human Paladin, Tribunal Elder of Adjudicator.

First really serious char on both RP and PK, I did surprisingly well with him and got some decent captures. had some of the best RP sessions with him and because of that developed him to how he was.

These have to be the all time favorites of mine because of those reasons.
