Deykari
Think my breathing problems have left me, at least for now. Finally got back into cardio training this past couple of weeks and the bronchospasms I had were not as severe at all as they were, though still there. Last two days I've been at the British ADSC (Army Development and Selection Centre), passed my medical and on my fitness test, managed to push myself to the max over the course of the two days, with hardly any issues afterwards. I did vomit 2/3 of the way through my run, though that was down to the fact that I ate a full traditional English breakfast prior. I didn't even bat an eyelid or falter, just turned to one side, vomited into a bush whilst still running, and carried on - receieved cheers and whistles all around from the assessors. So yeah, accepted into the British Army. Looking at January 4th for a start date currently. Dey

Deykari
The selection itself isn't that hard, I'm more happy about the fact that I seem to be able to exercise again without issue. Dey

KRins
Congrats Dey! Puking and keeping your pace up while running is a true sign of manhood. You might want to dial back from a traditional english breakfast to a traditional bronx breakfast...bagel, cream cheese, beverage of your choice, beer. Deykari
I know, you should have seen me about two hours ago. I took all my clothes off and laid in the wet grass in my garden for two hours, eating earthworms and mud to survive. Speaking of Bear Grylls, have you seen one of the episodes in his new series where he eats that huge larvae and you just see a big mass of bloody gut stuff fly out all down his chin and towards the camera? Then he gets diarrhea? I'm positive they're just doing some of this for shock value now. Dey

Questioner
Congratulations. Stay healthy and safe. Don't do anything Bear Grylls wouldn't do. Let us know if you get deployed.
