Warpnow
Yea, happens alot. Best part is when you fight a blind opponent...flee...stay in the same room...but he thinks you fled. heh. Does the same thing when you're out of mvs.

Mister E
He was probably fighting in fron of a guild room, or a cabal room, or any room that he isnt allowed in and his flee tried to send him in that direction.
Dale
No, they tried to flee through a shut door.
Magick
He was probably fighting in fron of a guild room' date=' or a cabal room, or any room that he isnt allowed in and his flee tried to send him in that direction.[/quote'] That's not entirely true. The guild/cabal guard will block you from entering and give you the usual 'you are not allowed in there' or 'you are too bloody to enter' message. Now fleeing west when there is no exit there... H&R
No' date=' they tried to flee through a shut door.[/quote'] It would have said "the door is closed" then.
Tom
It doesn't tell you the door is closed if you're fleeing, that just happened to me yesterday.
Acerbity
It's when you're trying to flee from a one exit room, and you flee into a 'wall'. You can't quite flee into a door. Go into a one exit room and close the door, and fight something. Try to flee, and you'll see that no matter how many times you type flee, you won't 'flee' from combat, it'll just say you can't escape. Now open the door, and flee excessively. Eventually, you'll try and flee into the wall, and not towards the exit, and get that message.

Ex-D&Der
But he did flee--he just didn't leave the room. I don't think he would get the message "You flee from combat!" and the exp loss if he tried to flee in the direction of a wall or a closed door. Just would have said "You couldn't escape!" Tom
You do get the message in the event of a door. Just try it and find out.
roma
i wasn't in front of a guild or anything. just a spot with only one exit. maybe there as a hidden door. I'll have to go back and find out.
