October 14: Saints Row 2

October 15: Dead Space

October 21: Fable 2

October 22: Far Cry 2

October 22: Little Big Planet

October 28: Fallout 3

I reserved all of them. I'm going to lose my job and start getting Fs in school, but it won't matter.

(Dead Space, BTW, is as scary as they advertised. Just don't play it for more than 6 hours straight like I did last night).

You forgot one.

November 7: Gears of War 2

Well, I reserved Gears 2 for my brother, just wasn't an October release so I didn't put it up there. I'm buying Fable II twice (collectors edition, so those are more like $85 a piece), getting the PC Far Cry 2 and the Xbox one... and I still have to get a PS3 to play Little Big Planet.

The truth is, I was given a considerably large sum of money for my 21st birthday because my grandparents are barking mad, and I pooled some of it into a personal savings area for gas for the car and games.

I'm buying a Mac Pro after Christmas sometime which will run me about $3,500 (veeerry old savings account for that one), but this is a business expense because I'm a freelance designer, so there's a tax write off.

On top of all this, I have about eight or nine people to go Christmas shopping for. Somehow I have to own all these games and keep my job, which is an ironic situation considering the fact that if I lose my job, I'll have to sell the games to afford Ramen noodles.

@ KRins:

I know, right?

Well to paint a pretty picture of my experience with Dead Space. I just gathered snacks and drinks for what seems to be about 5 people. Plopped down and demanded that my girlfriend call before she opened the front door so I didn't freak out, assume she was the undead, and knife her out of pure hysteria and fear.

People are used to the rhythm...already? Its only been out like 2 days. I do notice some similarities in their little ambush points and things like that...but that might just me being more observant of potential ambush points or a fact. I am still skittish as heck to just pop around a corner...but in a fun way. I hope I don't get down the rhythm until I'm done with my first play-through.

Wellllll... the scariest crap happens when you run out of med packs and stuff, cause some of the stuff you have to kill is just really tough. Me and my brother sat around making fun of the game for the first two hours, but when we started running out of jokes, things got really stressful.

'Course, it doesn't help that I'm playing on the harder difficulty.

Fallout 3 better be a classic like the last ones. Hopefully they didn't dumb down the complexity so that they could market it to a wider audience.

Just beat Dead Space. My ribs feel really gooey for some reason. This game is nerve wrecking.

I brought Fable 2 home on the 21st, after work....what did I do? Play FL for a 10 hour session. Heh. I've got Infinite Undiscovery, Lost Odyssey, and Fable 2....I haven't touched any of them. As much as I hate to love this game sometimes...just hard to get away. Did load up Fable for a little awhile today....can't wait to dive into it. Will serve as a good plan B for awhile until I'm ready to play here again.

im interested in fallout 3. I dont know if I will like fable 2. After I listen to the reviews of the orgies you could have in the game and the possibility of contracting a STD, the eyebrows were raised a bit. Games nowadays have too much sexualization that is not needed in any game in my opinion.

I am def. looking forward to fallout 3 and farcry. I love games where I can rp a n/n mercenary. Yay!!!
