Elven Kingdom

I knew when i saw this "{CODING} Malchaeius the Cacophony of Turmoil, Essence of Entropy" last night, that we would have a good surprise.

But i never expected this.

The Elven ruins are no more, we now have a Elven Kingdom.

And what a Kingdom. :)Isadora is truly a master.

Anyone that recalls there will find a lovely Green and Blue Park, the Unicorn valley is quite beautifully and has a nice river.

I predict it will be the new Healers Island.

It is so lovely that it will inspire you to make a elven Ranger.

And the Handmaidens... the Handmaidens...

The city itself is marvelous, with the regular square plot.

Shops of lovely dresses and accessories can be found, to help you attend the dances happening at the ball room.

The guilds are FANTASTIC, it is a joy to visit them.

Can you enter the seclusive order of the Black rose ? ;)

Thank you staff, for such a lovely area. It's great.

Thanks, Mya! Knowing that someone appreciates the tremendous amount of effort and care I put into this area makes it all worth it. Elves were always my favorite race, and I was hoping to reflect the different facets of their personality and culture. I hope that a few will take the care and look around carefully. My intentions were to plant seeds for roleplay, whether it was to increase a sense of immersion in your surroundings or possible ideas for a future character. This is part of the reason why it wound up being as big as it is for just a racial hometown. There are rooms there that are empty in the sense that it has no mechanical function or piece of armor or even a mob, but I hope that it would help enhance roleplay. For example, if you wanted to roleplay the head of the Elven church, a commander or soldier in the League of Arms, an advisor in the royal court, or even a disgruntled member of the lower class, you would have a 'station' or physical place to help base your roleplaying efforts. I left some important mobs out (note there's not many royalty mobs, etc.) so that players can fill those spots. This may be unrealistic for a small playerbase, but I built this city envisioning organized groups of players of aristocracy or religion or whatever. But if that's not your cup of tea, I hope you have some fun finding my little 'easter eggs' or trivial little storylines that tie together different mobs and rooms.

I guess this is as good an opportunity as any to make my official goodbye post. I'm sure most of you have figured out that I left quite some time ago. This was really heartbreaking for me as there are many pet projects to enrich the mud rp-wise that I haven't had a chance to flesh out. Also, I feel that this may potentially be one of the best ages for the mud. I can't tell you how rewarding it is to work with a staff and imp like what we have here. Malch genuinely cares so much for the mud and playerbase and has the creativity and maturity to really manifest it in a productive manner. Malch and the staff try their/our best to work with each other and with the players in a respectful and positive approach that I think is a welcome departure to some of our historical precedents. Amidst all of this positive potential, it was lack of time and complications in my personal life that forced me to leave. But who knows ..... Maybe I'll get a chance to write another area if Malch would welcome it.

:( I'll miss you Isadora.

I'd always hoped you would come back. One of the more fun Imms to RP with for sure.

My best RP moment with you was my Undead/Invoker (Before undead) Reikon. I made a huge bonfire in your name and we even sacrificed a couple people in your honor. :D
