Disagree all you want with my choices.

Ranger bane is Invoker

Invoker bane is Warrior

Warrior bane is Necro

Necro bane is paladin

paladin bane is berserker

berserker bane is monk

Monk bane is blademaster

Blademaster bane is shaman

Shaman bane is.... is...... a thief (fharkus primie example)

Fharkus used to ragdoll my shaman, even though he did not get a kill off me -with one slick combo he could send me packing with little less than 80hp, poisoned and wounded.

thief bane is a ninja

ninja bane is a V_ _ _ _ _ _

V_ _ _ _ _ _ bane is a good cleric

Yeah.... cant think of anything more

maybe a good cleric or a cleric for that could be savaged by a bmg, duno haven't played either.

incoming debate........

bmg bane is blm

blm bane is shaman

Mmmm... Blademasters being a Battlemage bane? I think it is more of the other way around. I have found out that shamans are REALLY good against battlemages.

Also, blademasters can chose some races/anatomy expertises which could also turn this the other way around. The biggest problem ever I've had with my shaman was against an undead blademaster with a mastery on my race, second one was a halfling blademaster with a mastery on my race and third one was an avian blademaster with a mastery on my race.

I don't disagree with your choices Except thief bane being ninja.. no way. The thief can easily' date=' easily win that battle on a consistent basis. Other than that. Sounds fair. Thief bane = laglock.[/quote']

heh yeah, I hesistated to say ninjas beat thieves, but I was on a roll and couldn't think of a class that I hadn't used already, that could beat a thief.

I do agree that a thief could savage a ninja. A ninja could prob melee the thief, but a smart thief could set a deathtrap for a ninja.

keep in mind a ninja can grapple and thieves don't have much to counter that... does that count as lag locking?

I'll post it before Aulian does.

Druid > Warrior

Druid > Zerk

Druid > Paladin

Druid > Blademaster

Druid > Thief

Druid > Ninja

Druid > Cleric

Druid > Healer

Druid > Shaman

Druid > Invoker

Druid > Necro

Druid > Battlemage

Druid > Bard

Druid > Lich

Druid > Vampire

Druid > Crusader

Druid > Immortal

Lies, assassin ninja will own a druid.

So will a SMART invoker, unless other special care taken on druids part.

Vampire - maybe if they smart.

Shaman - only if druid is stupid.

But the rest yeah sure.

Thief beats ninja? I'm surprised really, I thought it was the other way around. That deathtrap you mentioned is easily countered with vanish. A smart decoy will screw his initiatory attack. You can easily outmelee him, plus you have fired weapons. Don't forget acupuncture and cure light! Push for mass damage. Not even taking into account ninja paths. Seems the thief can't do much unless he can get the blackjack which won't be likely.

Thief > Ninja

Traps, traps and more traps-learn to use them-they are devastating if you can figure out some nasty tricks. Example: an anti-magic can lead to a successful blackjack/prying/backstab. Follow that up with an enfeebler, and chase down the ninja. A smart player knows a decoy-there is something that gives it away (also don't be spamming "murder ninja"). Scrolls of missile immuntity will render the fired weapons useless. A ninja isn't going to out melee a thief without caltraps (be flying), nerve (potions of giant strength, or equipment negate this). Disarm any weapons that aren't cursed. Throw envenomed daggers of said ninjas vulnerability if applicable.

Here's my two cents Tassinvegeta. A blademaster cannot predict a haymaker, this alone is huge. Blademasters aren't using shields to block a haymaker, nor do they don't have a protective shield spell to block a haymaker. The races that can join the blademaster's guild are tiny to medium in size. With some luck and skill, you can time a haymaker and hope to knock down deathweaver. If they don't flee first, eat your venom sack and bodyslam, game over. Wield a mace and shield-once you have the advantage, dual maces. From my berserking experience those put quite the beating on a blademaster. Toss in weapon cleave for extra spice.
