MyghtAndMagick
Is it just me, or are there zero good aligned immortals? Who do goodies send applications and stuff too? Who runs the Knight cabal? Who makes sure all the good boys and girls get something other than coal in their stockings? I'm confused.
Guest emp_newb
Generally all qrace/restrings are handled by Anume and Malch. If your after a cabal. The other imms also watch all chars to keep an eye out on potentials and look out for cheating etc etc. So if you are trying for something, a much better way to get notariety is try to incite some rp be it notes, or just talking to people. Another good one is go after cabal enemies etc etc
WagesofSin
What's worse is, as a good, do you act as if your god exists even when they don't in real life? (I.E. Irumeru, Korevar, etc.)
mya
Also interacting with the Menbers of the Cabals you wish to join is a good idea. Especially older/high ranking ones. That may be consulted in the event of you playing in non imm hours. And as emp_newb said, you never know when Anume is lurking in the shadows. Calron
I always felt odd doing RP to a specific god that doesn't exist anymore. Sometimes I prefer to direct prayers to the gods of light, etc, rather than by name.
Guest emp_newb
I came up with a solution to this a long time ago. You do not pray to the god, or follow their orders. You pray to what they represent, and their teachings.
WagesofSin
well that's an approach Emp, but if that the way we're going to play, we need to all be on the same page and play it that way.
songofsixpence
well that's an approach Emp' date=' but if that the way we're going to play, we need to all be on the same page and play it that way.[/quote'] How come? Why not be the last believer of a dead god? Other's cry their name for glory, but only you truly believe? Nobody ever has to play the same way, it's what makes the game fun. I'd say what you pray to should be a reflection of your character. If your character truly believes, then pray to the god, regardless of actual presence. If you don't, pray to gods of light/teachings/creator whatever you want to make it.
Guest emp_newb
That is the way I see it. You ask a christian what he believes, then ask a seventh day adventist what they believe. You will get both saying god, and the bible, but two completely different sects. Like Necropsy and Cycle. Both agree on death, but go about it differently. Twinblades713
You can pray to whoever you please... you can do whatever you want. It's a roleplaying game. Play the role you choose. That's why I don't play goods. I believe I am a lawful good person IRL. I play to be something different. Edit: I lied. I've played a couple of chaotic goods. Point remains. KRins
To get this back on track... is there still no good imms? Just curious if they are in a very different time zone from me or something...
