Where is everybody.

My CAL team in CS:S has been playing a lot lately. Between resting my eyes and looking for AWPers, final exams (yeah I'm might just stay in school permanently...business degrees aren't that terribly useful right now. Come on journalism. If not, come on business journalism!), and getting back into the gym... not much time to battle. But I'm floating around avoiding conflict like usual every so often.

Come on journalism. If not' date=' come on business journalism![/quote']

I hate to say it Krins, but journalism is unfortunately not doing that well either. In fact, many, many newspapers are facing a real crises with the internet. Why buy a paper when I can read the story on the internet. One might say, well they can just move their paper to primarily the internet, however, the majority of their income comes from things like the classifieds, which why go to the newspaper classifieds, when I can just post what I want on craig's list. Tons of exposure and a well known site are destroying their market. Very soon, we may see quite a few newspaper companies fold, such as what the Tribune company is facing, which does the Chicago Tribune, the LA, and various others. With the economy in the state it is, it certainly puts a dark cloud over those in the journalism field. Don't get me wrong, I think it is a necessary and viable field, however, it will not be any easier then say, business. But that is a personal choice you have to make for yourself. I say, do whatever makes you happy.
