Be thankful. In AD&D and other places they are usually at least 20ft tall (6.5 meters approx. for our metric crew).
I think the size was scaled down to make it less of a suspense of reality that they could get through doorways and such.
Of course, reality then takes a vacation when a giant puts on the Gal Ranidon plate or something.
Well I say make them 20 feet tall then, just don't give them the size bonus and scale down Ogres/Minotaurs. Or just update the help file, hell that was the first time I ever read the help file on Giants, normally just skimmed the help storm and such.
Re Tantanel: You should still regenerate WAY more hp per tick when sleeping on an ogre than on a feral or any other warrior race.
If you should have logs with different results, post them on prayer.
I also don't think camp should be affected all that much. As it was before you didn't even really need to camp with an ogre, since four ticks of sleep usually healed you up pretty much anyway without the downsides of camping. On any race you heal pretty much to full when you camp.
