Pracyntict
I've been working on a MUD client for a few weeks now, and I thought I would go ahead and post a link to what I have for any of you who are interested. It's mostly complete, though not heavily tested, which is why I'm posting it up here. I'd like reasonable feedback so I can keep improving it over time. So, if you'd like to give it a whirl, here are the main features: Multiple connection windows (like ZMud)Triggers (with sounds - MP3 or WAV)AliasesLogging capabilityCustom Command Buttons (with shortcuts)Command Memory (up to 50 commands)Path recording and recall (also, reverse path walking)Integrated MP3 player with customizable playlist (very light)Arrow-key navigation (use number pad and PgUp/PgDn for up and down)Customizable fonts and colorsLast command recall (press up arrow on input box)Integrated world search via MudConnectorSmall footprint (< 300K installed)It's FREEWindows XP or Vista only (Must have .NET Framework 2.0 installed) Feel free to comment & distribute at will, with the following caveats: I have noticed some color quirks from time to time, but they should be ironed outIt is customized for FL ONLYI do not play to support any other MUD than FLUse at your own risk. I've done some preliminary testing. I wouldn't use it (yet) in really serious situationsI do not plan to port it to ANY other OSThe help file will try to launch in IE. If you don't have IE installed, you'll have to browse to it manually.I'm not selling this, so don't expect me to fix things on any schedule Here is the download link: http://www.aabahran.com/downloads/QuickMUDSetup.msi

Djriacen
Ah nevermind.. Just saw the Windows only. Drag, I've been looking for another.
Iusedtobesomebody
Nice work C. The ability to just hit enter to repeat the last command is invaluble. Seems like that was my only complaint so far. Once I get some time to MUD, I'll dig deeper. But so far, so good. Also, when you disconnect, sometimes it commits an error and shuts down itself. Pracyntict
Fixed the issue with the client beeping when it gets over 100 lines of text. I'll look into the problem of it throwing an exception when it shuts down. As far as the last command, you can press the "up" arrow and it will recall the last commands, or just click it from the window at the right. Link is still the same. Hitting e, enter, enter is one whole keystroke less. And moving more than two rooms would even worse. Other than this one weakness, IMHO, I really like it. Iusedtobesomebody
Yes, laptop, otherwise than part of my post concerning 'without a numpad' would make no sense.

If I wasn't such an advocate against change I'd give this client a shot.
Crypticant
Can make no erase a configurable setting. Also, will add support for laptops by allowing user to define what keys the want to use as directional keys.
