fallout3

Actually, it is a pretty sweet game. The soundtrack is nice once you can begin to change radio stations, although it is somewhat limited. The quests will keep you busy for a long time and there are interesting choices to be made in the land of Fallout. Big points for the ability to change your haircut throughout the game. Minus points for lack of vehicles. The "other" vaults are fun to check out and learn their individual stories.

The best PS3 game so far is Little Big Planet, though.

i havent even gotten to the other vaults.I havent used any walkthroughs but i googled one just to see how i was doing and found out about the other vaults.Didnt know about them till tonight lol.Ive gotten only about 10 hours in and it could easily be a 100 hour game for me since i go so slow and cautious.

You'll have to play through another time to either blow up Megaton or disarm the bomb. What you experienced was one of the resolutions of that quest, as far as I know. The caravans you'll find more often around trading posts and settlements like Megaton, Tenpenny Tower, Rivet City, etc. You'll have to get lucky to just wander into one walking around the Wastes.

And Fallout 3 is very much a game you will either love or hate, it all depends on whether you enjoy spending a lot of time wandering around and exploring. There is some repetition certainly, but I don't think it is too repetitive at all... the side quests are all very interesting and quite different from each other. If you never found Oasis in your playthrough you haven't experienced it enough yet. ;)

EDIT: Personally I thought it was an incredible game, I've played it through twice, and I look forward to a few months from now doing so again when it's no longer so fresh in my mind.

my god man' date=' you have played thru it TWICE already.I couldnt imagine spending that much time on it.[/quote']

I've spent a bit over 100 hours on the game total. Pretty sure there are still a fair number of things I haven't done, places I haven't explored for various reasons... wanted to move along the story, place is full of Mirelurks (freaking hate Mirelurks), etc.

oblivion is AWESOME. I love that damn game. And yea, if you blitzkrieg the main story line it will be short. Do ALL the oblivion gates, do ALL the guilds. It gets very time consuming but EXTREMELY fun.
