Murat
This is game is just evil.I have barely done anything but play it since i got it. Anyone else addicted?
f0xx
I don't know how can you get addicted to something like that. I find it rather dull and boring. And tidious.
Mali
Actually, it is a pretty sweet game. The soundtrack is nice once you can begin to change radio stations, although it is somewhat limited. The quests will keep you busy for a long time and there are interesting choices to be made in the land of Fallout. Big points for the ability to change your haircut throughout the game. Minus points for lack of vehicles. The "other" vaults are fun to check out and learn their individual stories. The best PS3 game so far is Little Big Planet, though. Murat
i havent even gotten to the other vaults.I havent used any walkthroughs but i googled one just to see how i was doing and found out about the other vaults.Didnt know about them till tonight lol.Ive gotten only about 10 hours in and it could easily be a 100 hour game for me since i go so slow and cautious. Mali
Head east and pick up some new radio stations. Blow up Megaton... but be sure to get the sheriff's hat first.

What you experienced was one of the resolutions of that quest, as far as I know. The caravans you'll find more often around trading posts and settlements like Megaton, Tenpenny Tower, Rivet City, etc. You'll have to get lucky to just wander into one walking around the Wastes. And Fallout 3 is very much a game you will either love or hate, it all depends on whether you enjoy spending a lot of time wandering around and exploring. There is some repetition certainly, but I don't think it is too repetitive at all... the side quests are all very interesting and quite different from each other. If you never found Oasis in your playthrough you haven't experienced it enough yet. EDIT: Personally I thought it was an incredible game, I've played it through twice, and I look forward to a few months from now doing so again when it's no longer so fresh in my mind. Pali
my god man' date=' you have played thru it TWICE already.I couldnt imagine spending that much time on it.[/quote'] I've spent a bit over 100 hours on the game total. Pretty sure there are still a fair number of things I haven't done, places I haven't explored for various reasons... wanted to move along the story, place is full of Mirelurks (freaking hate Mirelurks), etc.
Andre
my god man' date=' you have played thru it TWICE already.I couldnt imagine spending that much time on it.[/quote'] It's not as long as you think. I kind of skipped alot of the side quests. but the main story line is really short.

Twinblades713
Yeah, the main quest of Oblivion is pretty short too. SIDEQUESTS FTW

Ali_gmud
I'm going to try and derail this thread because twinblades mentioned oblivion I started up like 2 days ago again, for old time sake. I never really got that far into it. But i've just started, made myself a caster, and joined the mages guild, its soo old school but it's soo fun. Guest emp_newb
oblivion is AWESOME. I love that damn game. And yea, if you blitzkrieg the main story line it will be short. Do ALL the oblivion gates, do ALL the guilds. It gets very time consuming but EXTREMELY fun.
Ali_gmud
Do you know how to get the mods working for oblivion the only one I got going was the nude patch, and that's pretty fail. I was reading on soo many more mods that sounded, and look real cool. Like no load screens, better player models and what not.

Pali
Fallout is NOT just Oblivion with guns (at least, no more than WoW is FL with graphics). The game's an incredible experience, having played Oblivion in the past just makes it a little bit easier to get into.
