f0xx
One of the requirements for a race restring is your desired race to have SOME similirities to the original race. Once an application of mine for race restring of drow to "spectre" was rejected with the reply "If you want spectre, then get undead first." Now, I know that with good RP everything can be achieved, but what are exactly are the similiarities between an avian and a gorgon? I mean, one is lizard-like, other is bird-like. Also I remember we had a sphynx before? Whose original race was a drow?
Ali_gmud
Pretty sure twinblades had a restring has mist/fog, or something. How that is similar to drow is beyond me.
Twinblades713
Dude that was completely Valganti's idea. I was just like "ok". Fun as hell though. Dunno why. I think why spectre requires undead is so that all bonuses and penalties apply. Blackjacking a spectre might be weird, as would the lack of holy vuln. How my cloud could be blackjacked, I don't know. Editting furthermore, I would assume avians are like the gateway to flying restrings... no other regular class has autofly and the full align spectrum to play with.
