Ali_gmud
Anyone a big fan of this guy? Ong bak 1 was wicked, and Ong bak 2, I just discovered is actually out in the threaters, anyone seen or heard about it?
Jacobis
"The Protector" starring Jaa is one of my favorite martial art movies of all time.
Ali_gmud
Is the protector that movie where there's a scene that goes for about 3mins of tony jaa just breaking bones constantly?
Evangelion
Yes. Except there's more like three scenes where that occurs.
Iconz
I remember when Ong Bak was comin out and they said the found the next Bruce Lee... then i watched Ong Bak and i was like... thats not the next Bruce Lee! Not to put down the movie or anything.. i just aint like the comparison. Jaa's style is too flashy imo... fun to watch.. but too flashy... all that acrobatics is jus extra. I mean...Jaa is cool in his own right tho i guess... but he aint the Dragon! __________________ Iconz - The boogeyman might check under his bed for Chuck Norris... but do you know who Chuck Norris checks under his bed for? Rethrick
Lee couldn't and will never be replaced. He was an absolute innovator when it came to the concept of Mixed Martial Arts. However, Jaa is justa freaking beast. He makes Chuck Norris in his prime look like Dr. Quinn. God I miss doing Thai.
Ali_gmud
Can someone name a few of bruce lee's movie in a order from most recommended to some of his other greats, he was kind of before my time and I never really have seen any of his stuff, tony jaa and jet li are impressive but apparently bruce lee was the one and only, so I wana check out what the fuss is about, I doubt for a second he wont be good. Enter the Dragon, Fists of Fury, World's Most Dangerous Game (or whatever the actual title was...Deadly Game...help me out here) The thing that also made Bruce Lee incredible was his speed. He wasn't just fast...he was ridiculously fast. Like, can't see him move fast.
Guest emp_newb
Correct. The Dragon did not have incredible power, he was strong mind you, but he was BLISTERINGLY fast. Like hit you in the face while your looking at him and not even move fast.
Ali_gmud
So, enter the dragon you say would be the number 1? I mite have to hire it on the way home, and watch it after I drop the lady home.
Guest emp_newb
Enter the dragon is probably the most well known, at arguably one of the better ones yes
Ali_gmud
I was watching some thing on youtube not long ago where bruce lee vs'd chuck norris (hairy version) what movie was that? I thought chuck norris was unbeatable, but his hairyness got defeated.
Guest emp_newb
Chuck Norris was actually one of the first people to learn all the ins and outs of Jeet Kune Do (sp?) from Bruce. He studied with him for several years.
