Is it possible for you to agree with anyone mudder? Just say yea' date=' he was pretty hardcore. He had to have been good to get E. He was also around when there where a million nexus monsters, so that also speaks for itself.[/quote']

I disagree.

i suppose i could write one if we need someone to... i had two pretty strong bards and they are strangely my favorite class. Keep in mind i'm not the most experienced player out there for specific items, but i can cover what every ability does and when to use them etc.

Anything is better than nothing, and since essays are mostly obvious things designed to new players to class.

---and since you are a recent player, you might even capture the best information to include to a newbie player.

What I mean, is do one. Post on prayers. I am sure the imms will consider it. Just like the recent shaman essay.

I wouldn't bother with bards until they get a revamp. They are the 'broken' class' date=' both in balance and in how they are quite buggy.[/quote']

Gotta disagree here. Sorry.

I appreciate them as they are, given their low EXP penalty, and that they give the game more than one-man-army classes to run around with. When I realized that they were solid PVE-ers when in a supportive role, I found them remarkably more enjoyable to play.

A class that actually needs friends and RP diplomacy... tough to succeed at, but in a different way.

Every class is good at PVE in a supportive role. Bards have so-so damage output, relatively bad buffs/debuffs, and no ability to tank---they lack everything you need to succeed. And even if they were 'ideal supporters', which they are not, they would still be ill-designed for the 1vs1 game that we mostly have.

Yes, you can call being weak as variety, which is very optimistic. But the point stands that bards are outshone by every other class.

If you can have fun with this, go for it and do your thing, but it should be very clear to people who may not know what they are getting into. People assume that if the class/race (or combo) is available, that it will be roughly balanced with others...
