I am 90% sure I just got killed by somebody for killing another of their characters. Full loot too. :( Which I have only done once. and that was because it was a really close fight. No.. this one was a level camper, kicked my can in 2 rounds while I was buying food. try fighting back when you get lagged while buying/eating... not fun. then took all of my INFERIOR gear.. then had the gall to wait for me and say "Something you threaten to one, may cause effect from another." when I have not had a single second of interaction with this person before getting demolished.

That's lame. It happens. You'll get over it' date=' get better, and move on. Good luck to you and I hope you enjoy your time, and at least get better at recovering from turkies like that. :)[/quote']

unfortunately for me.. its gonna be fairly hard.

Its really depressing that somebody seriously had so much trouble with a complete noob, that they had to bring their overbuffed, level camped project character to kill me.

Yes. I've killed. A lot. But I have ettiquette after. I don't full loot. in fact, I hardly loot at all, even if theres gear improvements on them. The way I see it, if I beat them once, whether or not I beat them again relies in my ability. My gear was obviously better, and if I want to survive, I have to keep improving. If they pass me up, no fault but my own.

But to take it so far as to pull this stunt?

Well, it's all grey area, in my opinion. Like I said before there's two sides. One side, is well yeah he could have acted with a little more class. The other side is, you're a competent player, you'll learn, get over it. No use staying upset over something that happened and won't be undone. If it's really bothering you, distract yourself with thoughts of revenge or something. :D

Log it and post it in the Prayer Forum whenever something like this happens. This is OOC and illegal behavior.

Sadly, it is also a reality when playing online games that you're going to get the occasional immature idiot who just likes to do things their way and couldn't care less about how it affects other players (i.e. spawn campers in shooters). It'd be nice if we could figure out some way to filter douchebags out of the gamer population, but unfortunately we're afflicted with them just like every other group.

I did. But I'm about at the point where I'm going to scrap that character. If there are going to be these people that are just going to cross character kill me.. its bad enough my situation. I'm jsut gonna say it. I'm Xhan. I'm a mid-level outcast. which means since I can't kill the guardians and get to a guildmaster.. i haven't practiced any of my skills since.. level 17. that was a while ago. So effectively, people my level are fighting something half theirs.

but that doesnt bother me, its his character.

what bothers me is the lack of reason. i never interacted with this character. ever. i had no bounty on my head last i checked.

so what.. i killed a lowbie of his a few days ago? so instead of putting the work in to surpass me on that character, he's going to break the rules, and then brag about it? Good thing I logged it and submitted it..

Or is it because I got something that i've been told is hard to get? Obviously its not impossible. if the person wants it so bad, come up with a good RP to get it.

But I just dont get it. It has aggrivated me to the point where I am about to trash Xhan.

If you were the guy standing near your corpse in val miran then when I saw you you still were wearing EQ? Either you EQ super quick' date=' or your idea of full looted is flawed?[/quote']

Val Miran near my corpse? yes. my equipment? no.

EDIT: I had managed to come across some abandoned crap gear from a temple. Oh, and an empty bag and a spear that were actually from my corpse.

If you delete because of what happened to you, then you're just giving in to being treated like that. If you get stronger, smarter, and better because of it, you're evolving as a player. If you're scrapping him because the outcast is really hard on you... uhh. I might too. :D Sounds brutal. On the flip side, you can pay someone to waste a guildguard for you.

it isnt that outcast is rough. its just slow progression.

I'm still more than capable of handling players in my PK range, so long as they arent megabuffed project characters that lag me while buying/eating. >_>

i would pay people, but i dunno how people amass so much money. i only had 10k left after getting into despair today. and i know thats not a lot of money.

i cant kill the gaurd because im too low level.

i did NOT expect to be outcast at the level I was. Day one of PKs.. ripped from the world and smacked with outcast.

Write worse applications! dude that says alot bout your app that u got emotaur so quickly. dont delete PLZZZZZ

edit: alot of people would kill to be in your position having evil mino.

MadCowDisease: Go south of Rheydin and take your second west. Follow that path into Taradune. Continue going west into the Fields with crows/scarecrows.

There is a mob standing there with sanctuary. He is a trainer and I believe you can also practice skills there. Good luck with your character. :)

We were just hunting yesterday together, we could have EASILY broken into a guild. You just had to ask.

It was quite obvious you were a new player, but I never really thought about not being able to enter your giuld or I would have offered my help anyway.

What I could say about your situation is, if you like your character and RP, do not give up and delete, you WILL regret it later. I am talking from a first hand experience.

The way it sounds you are coming up quick in the FL world, much quicker than I. Still I have yet to do well with pk, even though I should by now. I can assure you of one thing, there is ALWAYS a rough road ahead. The only thing anyone can do...is tough it out. We all have our breaking point, best to know when to step back...just for a bit...take a few deep breaths and jump back in there. In the long run, it will pay off.
