Sandbox
yea' date='and I have seen emertis do that to a pally that he dueled.[/quote'] i never duel'd a single paladin i only dueled monks, and one warrior. And the monk your referring too, i told him that if he chose to fight me he would die, this is the same guy who freaked out when i used sanctuary so i let him rest comlpetely up to 100% hp then started again. Hardly the same case.
Ex-D&Der
I've regretted pretty much every deletion save one. And he had only one life left, so he pretty much committed suicide. It's better to just shelve the project and wait it out. Emertis was a nice character. Good luck with your next one.

Good luck with your next one.[/quote'] Yea zerk was fun until 42, after 42 i couldnt kill but maybe two civilians alone completely decked. I had pretty much every item a mino zerk could want at 43, but 2 civilians later i was at 300hp from 1008. Weak mobs like the cleric with boots of protection beat the **** out of me with simple mals... i dont want to make it seem like it was 100% anyone elses fault, this thread is not about just that once incident. Zerkers really are hard to play, of all the people i killed... if you think i killed you easily i didnt, i had to try several tactics on every one of you. He had just about everything mastered except for relax, enchanced damage because i lost it. there are so many shout outs... so many but the important part , one cleric i killed was pretty new.. i PROFUSELY apologize to you. I didn't realize berzerkers had such and advantage over clerics at that level. To that paladin i killed, i tried to fight you when you were in a group of 1 or 2 people who could kill me so that the fight would lean in your favor. I wish i could have helped you get more gear before i was outcasted. I know outcast isnt a common goal for most characters but the way i invisioned a minotaur was a bit different than i was expected to play with so I just stuck with my rp and ran with it. AS A PLAYER i need to appologize to Philantees for killing you for something i read on the forums... i thought you killed a noob OOC, that doesnt make what i did right, i was punished for it and out of respect the characters involved i went ahead and deleted. I wont be doing anything like that in the future
f0xx
The is COMPLETELY different at rank 50. When I had my first characters at 50 I was literally petrified by how bad I do. And I was used to PKing in the low 40s, just when I hit 50 and started to face other people who are prepared to battle me, then things became really rough. You will inevetably face the same problem. Sooner or later, everyone overcomes it though.
Guest emp_newb
Shekka? I had a few rounds with Shekka with......I forgot the name of the character I had. Kurquazak' date=' maybe? Was my Necro, that failed the Psi test. Shekka was a handful...[/quote'] ACTUALLY shekka came after me. Like all my good ideas someone took the concept, and did it better
Cephirus
I guess someone is going to miss out on their chances for a tournament. Oh well, fun character. I am not really going to beat the dead horse and say that you should not have deleted and kept going, but you should not have deleted, and kept going. You seemed to be doing well, but until you hit 50, nothing really matters. Not eq, not crapy experience holes, 50 is the great equalizer. Edit: And even at 50, eq is just magical icing on what should be a delicious cake.

Cephirus
Pff, those immortals say a lot of things. Basically interpret it to mean that you need to work your *** off to prove that you are worth it, and not just trash.
Vech24
I'll never understand the decision to just outright delete a character you've spent a large sum of hours into. I get that it's usually an emotional response and related to a death/loot where the prospect of re-equiping is disheartening. I get all of that. Still, why not just not play a character? You aren't restricted to a set number of characters after all. I liked Emertis by the way, and ran around with him for a bit at lower levels. Showed me the ropes in a lot of areas too that a noob definitely appreciates.

I just realized after 60 hours of sitting at the same lvl i wasnt going anywhere, nobody would help me lvl , usually to busy with cabal warfare etc, and zerks SUCK at soloing mobs, their horrible, thiefs have better solo ability. I think what might've been the deal breaker for you is that whole bit about not being able to get into a Cabal. That seems to have squashed your RP plans. Combine that with apparent gameplay frustration and I can see why you just up and deleted.
mya
If you hit 40 and cannot hunt in a group, go do guild quests. I prefer mediums. If you cannot find the places they say in the quests, then keep doing it, because you need to learn about Areas/mobs. Ask others.

Pali
Next time, dron't break roleplay Being an outcast is not something to be proud of. More correctly, next time don't pick a role-play that will handicap your character to such an extent until after you've got a bit more experience and a better handle on the game.
