Deykari
I think he is trying to say that the fury berserker's 'improved power grip' is somewhat useful since it is an automatic skill (albeit probably still much worse than what anger and devastation get). I'm not sure what the tone up was though, so I can't comment on it. I do know that the normal power grip is very, very, very bad. Sorry, I have trouble explaining things. I also realised that what I was saying was wrong, so completely disregard my post. Seriously, just ignore me. Dey
Guest emp_newb
If you have never picked it, how can you say it sucks? Feral beastmaster has the potential to have the highest melee output of any melee character.
Deykari
I bet you I can put it back up before you can flee. Even if I can't, you're still taking extremely more damage from my melee until you do spam flee. Not to mention I am wielding the most offensive weapon in the game. Just ask Mephizex how he enjoyed fighting Threkan. It was changed though. I bet I can flee;flee before you can put it back up now. Whip lock is now most useful when you've got somebody who's already entering commands to capitalise on their lag. If you whiplock an unlagged person they can get out of the lock very quickly now, leaving you still lagged. Dey
mya
"Isolate: Lvl 45ish spell with high mana that I have never got to work." Dammit, how many times i have to say this, Isolate Works. It's a spell, if they keep saving it, try to cast curse on them. Only one of the rangers path is immune to it.

Celerity
And now I have to start wondering as to why a thief hybrid would have more melee power than a pure melee...
Deykari
The whole point of Heroism is that you get the perks at the cost of having no followers (roleplay, and for balance). I'd favour heroism the vast, vast majority of the time anyway. Dey

People got out of it way easier than I remembered from before. Backcutter is sweet. Focused bash could be great in certain circumstances.
Mudder
You are lagged from flee. You still have to type flee twice for it to ware off. I think it had already been toned down when Threkan chose it. (I think). It's a 1 tick ability. However, it is very easy to time properly for maximum effect. How many people are you fighting that aren't already entering commands? I've never been burned by this lore, I just think it adds far too much offense for an incredibly offensive class when wielding the most offensive weapon. Heh. EDIT: Heroism allows Tribunal pets to remain with the Paladin, what more do you need?

Aulian
If you have never picked it, how can you say it sucks? Feral beastmaster has the potential to have the highest melee output of any melee character. Wrong. If beast master allowed you to have four beasts (3 + charmie) then I would say yes. A feral archer has the most potential for highest melee output. 1. normal feral mini haste. 2. leopard 3. wyvern 4. rapid fire 5. cabal charmie = highest melee output. mya
I think you mean a Elf Ranger archer Knight Sigil Elder. - 2 mindlflayers. - Bow with vuln arrows - 2 pets - 1 vanguard - Call Lightning - Sigil skill that BMG use. Beat my combo.... PS: I mean beat this "highest melee output", F0xx, not actually a counter to my combo.

Mudder
Then go Praetorian, it's still the highest melee output. I hate vanguards.
Guest emp_newb
no, I mean beastmaster 3 mammoth attacks 4 leopard attacks + trip 2 raven attacks + trip 10 attacks for feral beastmaster pugiling 19 attacks + fired weapons is 20. Making a feral ranger who uses murder the highest potential melee w/o cabal factored in. Bitches

Ex-D&Der
10 attacks for feral beastmaster pugiling Are you talking about with haste, or in the initial round? I played a feral ranger with staff, pugil, second and third attack mastered and never got more than 6 attacks.

Pali
And not only that' date=' but you have to open with "murder" to get the possible two rounds in one.[/quote'] Or be brought into combat through autoassist... look at any ranger or necro pk log, you can see the pets attack twice as much the first round they're in as every other.
