Wow, you go to work and miss out on all the fun things happening.

My thoughts:

I waited a month for my crusader in 2.0... and I WAS A LEVEL 59 IMM. Could I have just approved my own app? Of course. But I wanted to remain anonymous and do it the right way. Two weeks is nothing. Get over it.

Sounds like the IMM in question either was away or had limited play time. Maybe just for once, instead of thinking only about ourselves, wonder what it was? I'm curious.

And let's be brutally honest here: Grosek and Savnt's history here makes them less than reputable.

Actually, it IS rarely given, and for good reason. You're asking a GOD to grant you a gift, to make you one of its chosen warriors, and you're saying that this god should remain so inclined AFTER the order you're given is questioned? You don't become a Crusader for peaceful, personal reasons... you become a Crusader to serve as a holy warrior for God, and if God speaks, you obey. If you question or refuse, you don't deserve it.

EDIT: For the record, these kind of reactions are why I'm GLAD we have made it tough to get qclass/qraces/cabal spots. Because if a little waiting and being told to fight a strong enemy are too much for you to handle, how are you going to handle the qclass playing differently than you expected? How are you going to handle being a target for EVERYONE because you're a qclass? How are you going to handle getting full looted every death because you're a qclass? Hell, for something sader-specific, how are you going to handle making selectable choices that don't mesh the way you wanted them to, something that will permanently stick to your character that you may not like?

Simply, if a bit of waiting is too much for you, you don't deserve it in the first place.

I had thought this game to be a little more lenient than that. I guess that is on me, then. At least a rejection or note would have been nice.

This would be a classic sign of sour grapes, somebody did not get what they wanted, so something is ****ed up with the system, it could not POSSIBLY be how they approached the subject, it has to be someone elses fault. Maerothir got crusader because I RPed my char, fought anyone who was attacking the innocent, or causing harm and worry to them, and anyone "an immortal" hinted that I should deal with. I never put the mantle of rare limitation on myself, because I was not yet in the order. I did everything I could as I was to execute "the will of the one". I asked ONE time about my application, and that was to make sure I sent it properly. Never again brought it up, no tossing PMs on forum, no sending notes in game. You are being judged by GOD. Why the hell would you tell him to hurry the **** up?

My only point is, if this mud can't provide immortal interaction on a player IC level, others can. I am sure I am not the only one feeling that way from the massive amount of AIMS I've gotten over the last 2 hours.

If they can't fix it, they will lose more players.
