Guest emp_newb
How many people here fought Rudsvinn and thought there was absolutely no real chance of a W. Rudsvinn was scary as all get out, I watched him tank Vlad. Thief tanking?
f0xx
Emp_Newb - that argument is just plain hogwash. Fighting a necro with non-Travens is already an uphill struggle for many classes. Sleep is pretty easy to avoid. Mals and afflictives are how he SHOULD be fighting. I don't think anybody on this thread is complaining about uphill battles...what we don't like is a one-sided fight. So now you start telling how a necro (who is beating you hard) *should* play. Seriously man, if I was on your place I would roll a hafling BLM with +30 on his race. You put so much energy into whining when you can put it into something much more productive. One sided battle? You should have seen Wyslign or any well played PSI of that path. No fleeing, no protective shield to save you from the blood guard, no sanc, no mana.
Croyvern
If I may speak on the subject; 1. Life is not balanced. FL reiterates that in every aspect. 2. The powers granted by cabals are not freebies, the must be earned. 3. I have played hundreds of chars over the years, I have left what seems like half a million corpses laying here or there. Its a game, enjoy losing if you have to. 4. Most Important, roll play begins with failure, those of you who delete the forst time you fall in battle do to senseless pride will never flesh out "great" characters. Just my opinion. Guest emp_newb
Wyslign got me one time with his little trap. After that he never got me again cause I figured out how to get around it. Sure if you walk into what he had set up, you where dead. But that is the same with getting blackjacked in a norecall 1 exit room. Things like that. Sirax
Syndicate is one of the best cabals in fl huge scape to rp, and having played a few of them the skills you get are pants. Only at trusted do you start to find things become easier. And as far as cabal duties a syndicate should be the least monitored imho. The player who plays Kurvihkel is getting a bit of a bashing here, he rps well enough from what ive seen and he has that fear factor a leader of Syndicate should have. Things can get frustrating with the travens but the imms said they are being looking into. Sileanne is a top notch character, just keep on with her. Tribunal is a hard cabal to be in, lots of enemies and lots of frustration but you they can also be very enjoyable. Log back on with Sileanne requip and enjoy the game again, it is only a game. I would say one thing to the player of Kurvihkel Do you sleep? I swear your an ALL the time.
Guest emp_newb
Oh yea, I did not even TOUCH on that. As pildo Kurvikhel is one of the few people to accept my guhnome RP, as well as delving into my ideals. He has also gone out of his way to RP with me on a few occasions, as well as always coming off as a classy player. Kurvikhel is they caliber of player, and character, we should all be striving towards. I wanna be like Kurvikhel when I grow up.
Croyvern
Sorry, I needed to add this. Kurvihkel's role play remains incredible, a dificult thing when you consider the number of people he can "trust". And any of you complaining about him killing you in a round or two, should create a Mysterum Healer. He is a beast true, but he is not the "grim reaper", out think him. As Sirax said, he has to be tired. heh.

Whining is telling your mom you won't eat a sandwich cuz she used wheat bread instead of white bread....a legitimate complaint is when you're allergic to wheat bread. mya
"Kurvikhel is they caliber of player, and character, we should all be striving towards. I wanna be like Kurvikhel when I grow up." Right... I never been slain for skill abuse. But then again he was probably just influenced by a certain thread on Life insurance. Kurvikhel is quite feared and quite a cool guy to fight, but lets not put people on a Pedestal. Nobody is perfect. Even i got slayed once for Killing a neutral thief with a Paladin. Guest emp_newb
Yet kurvikhel's player (if I have guessed properly) constantly brings powerful, and very well rped characters to the lands. As well as moving to enrich the game beyond dirt/bash/charge/sleep/get all corpse. Despiser abused bugs Behrens requested hoardes of starstones for his sader Viri made the damn game There are none, nor will there ever be a perfect player. What we can actively hope for is a group of players who bring a session that will make us better players, be it through rping our faces off, or smashing our characters into oblivion. I never would have learned to pk half as fast as I did, had I not been fighting tank *** vets. Despiser taught me more about running with narnokles than any other char ever. Raargant
Okay, I think the purpose of this thread has largely been ended. A complaint was stated. Staff has stated that the issue is being addressed. Let's end it here.
Zhokril
And as a side note, I am tired of seeing people "slip" and discuss cabal skills every other post. Re-read your writing before you hit the post button if you need to. Likewise, it is not okay to hint or talk about the player of a character that has not been revealed publicly. It is neither respectful nor allowed. Those of you that continually violate the forum rules will eventually incur some action in response, as lenience always has its ends.
