New to the forums, definitely not new to FL.

This is my first post, and it is certainly the topic in which I feel is the most important one being actively discussed.

An idea of mine is to contact the mud list sites. I've noticed in the past, and still, that certain MUDs are often featured, and thereby advertised when people conduct searches for certain MUDs. Maybe if enough people contacted the staff of the mud list (MUDconnector.. etc.) and relayed our concern, they might be willing to feature Aabahran.

To get an idea of what I'm talking about head over to mudconnect.com and conduct an advanced search. At the top of the search results you will see 6 MUDs that are labeled as featured. These are the first MUDs people look at.

Also it is in the best interest of all players here to visit any and all MUD review sites and leave some current reviews! Take a look here:

August of '06 is the last comment left. Some reviews are excellent, but most of them are horrible, and discuss the state of the MUD over 2 and a half years ago. Lets update the review sites! Even if it means just 3 former players go and read the new reviews, and decide to come back, even if its just one, it will have been worth 5 minutes of our time.

You all know just as well as I do this MUD is a gem. Up to date information can only help the success of Forsaken Lands, as such I will be leaving a review this evening on the link I provided. I recommend we all do.

Mud Review sites

As it turns out I am unable to write a review at the link I provided in my first post. It may be because that option has been disabled by Malchaeius after seeing the flame posts that had nothing to do with the MUD. The site allows the MUD admin to allow or disallow reviews. But reviews can be written here for those interested.
