Jedi_Donkey
Ok, now I've seen it all. A CRAZY weapon that you can have 2 of? Woah, gimme a little chance? How about giving any class the ability to make one of these, gaw. That's just nuts, how about a shield for me that makes the other person rem all, drop all, sac all. I just felt like I bent over and got railed without lube, it hurt bad too:( I hate Malforms:(
f0xx
Lololol. Try making one then.
Jedi_Donkey
Not hard to make a malform at all, as long as you know how to run. You can easily stay alive long enough to get one to 10. Obviously 3 DKs at once figured it out. Patience is a virtue, then repays you with the best 2 weapons ever.
Psycho Child
Heh, it is NOT that easy to get a lvl 10 malform.

Jedi_Donkey
Say what you will, with as many bad players there are at 50. Ones that the DKs can just rip apart over and over to lvl their weapons. I see it as pretty easy to make one... Well, anyhow. I've flamed enough about this OP skill. I'm done before I get banned for Foxx bringing forum fighting and getting myself into trouble. Lemme close out by saying sorry to anyone it offended. I'm sure you spent a while making your malforms, but if you're like one of the 3, whom clearly admits Malforms are incredibly OP(love you buddy), then you know why I'm upset about this skill. Anyhow, probably a bye bye post now cause I'm sure I just got myself banned for this short complaint:(
f0xx
I am not one of the three. Actually I am one who has fought on daily basis each of them, and especially Masokant. Even though he ate 7 weapons of mine, fighting him wasn't THAT hard even without a weapon and even though my class is suppsed to get owned by his combo and ESPECIALLY by Meph's, I still manage to put up quite a fight and haven't died even once to any of them. I believe you are ignoring the *preperation* part too much.
Guest emp_newb
Without getting into specifics, you cannot multi kill to level malforms. And if you level your malforms in a cheap way, imms will not let you keep them. So those people who have those malforms, have had to work very hard to get them. Masokant is played by aa strong vet player. Mephisoleer has been around forever. And I get the feeling imseik is played by an experienced player. -Totenkopf-
Having fought Masokant and Imseik, I have to agree that malforms are ungodly strong. I am not too concerned about an effect. More the fact both of these peoples malforms seem to make it near on impossible to cast/land any spells. If you've fought them, you'll know what I mean. The effects they give seem to land without chance to save. Imseiks lasts a LONG time considering its effect. I would probably like to see these toned, but I can handle it in the meantime. Its not like its an autobashing weapon, so you can always run. *DISCLAIMER* Provided titanic sized demon isn't bashing your arse.
TheNewGuy
I only know about one of the DKs, but he's attacking everything and everyone, and dies hell of a lot doing so. And if it is so easy, then just do it, and have two for yourself. And rip the pbase asunder til the imms HAVE to change it.
mya
Burn prof your weapons and shield. Totenkopf get 70+ mal saves.

-Totenkopf-
70+ mals? This is where you kid yourself. Thinking you can have that much saves and still hit beyond a graze (if you manage to touch them at all). There are such classes such as meelee that cant just load up on the saves if they wish to fight to save their life
Evangelion
Roll a Dwarf Combat Cleric and go Praetorian. Shove a special mace up the DK's bum. Rinse, repeat.

[/quote'] First sentence may be true...I'm not entirely sure to be honest with you. The second sentence is completely false. I have personally been naked pit humped by one of the 3. Sure they are a a nasty DK cuss...but lets not pretend this is somehow more enforced than breaches of RP/OOC works/favoritism.
Guest emp_newb
That is not really cheap as I meant it. Sure pit humping is lame, but it is a viable tactic. What I meant by cheap is DKs camping the people hunting to get to pinn, and going in and wasting them while they hunt. If you got pit humped oyu either recalled in bad shape (which does happen from time to time) But that also relates to being semi lazy. Recalling IS easy. Much easier than running to an out of the way hidey hole. Had you just run instead of quaffing that recall, you would not have been pit humped. If you where waiting for your armor and unghosted at a pit, well that is a risk you have to take. Personally even if I AM waiting for gear to come back to the pit, I get the basic suit I keep in my locker for when I unghost so I can defend myself. Then as soon as my gear comes back I put all back stash back get all pit.
Celerity
The problem with level 10 malforms is that there is no way for them to decrease in level once you have them. I'd really like to see a death knock off a level to level 9. Maybe some staff could run the numbers and determine a curve so that if you have about a 50/50 pk/death ratio, you should have about a level 6-7 malform. As your pk/death ratio rises, so does your malform level. It would be difficult to maintain level 10s, but it would be easier to get to the middle (most balanced) level. This mechanic would COMPLETELY encourage trashing lowbies to pad your pk record. Also if the record controlled it, I would sit at level 38 smashing people into oblivion so as soon as I got a malform it would be uber.

The multi-killing rule would still apply and trash killing is already illegal at lower ranks (as is padding PK records in general).
TheNewGuy
It still encourages trash killing, if yet at 50. Bad, bad, bad idea.
Celerity
I think no more than the current malform system does. The big difference is that now, with a level 10, you don't have to play defensively and lose all responsibility for upkeeping the malforms. So, now, we have "trash-killing" until malform level 10 and then...? I think that the DK should have to remain responsible for her malform forever. If this means that DKs need to pick on weaker/unprepared opponents...I think that fits the DK role well. Isn't that what being a DK is all about? Being the cowardly bully by design? Zhokril
5. With the exception of quest race' date=' quest class, cabal skills, mana charge, [b']malform weapon, Tattoos (any) and selectable skills (including, for example, non-selected religion specific effects), all skills may be speculated about. This means if you know, please don't spoil other's fun. If you want to talk about malform specifics, take it to the prayer forum. Otherwise, keep the effects out of it. Guest emp_newb
I just do not think it is fair everyone is running after stuff that they think is "too strong". I have tried to play 3 dks. Never got to even name my malform, let alone dual level 10 malforms. Remember guys, there is a line between strong and OP. Anyone who has access to staves can completely wreck masokant, but you need to think about it. Your not gonna be able to just dirt bash or dispel hellstream a decked DK who has 2 full malforms. Not gonna happen.
