Zhokril
I believe it might be a glitch in the two-tier PK system This is unlikely. However, as always, if anyone thinks they may have caused a crash please post a log of it on the prayer forum or at least let us know what you were doing. Deykari
Until you realise that bards in certain cabals... can be extremely buff? I've seen the same as emp_newb - a bard killing a Reaver Vampire. And it's no fluke, it happened on multiple occassions. Both Helmsley and Jarl are the two I think of that did a substantial amount of rocking. I'm not making a comment as to whether they are underpowered or not, I have no comment there. I am simply saying, don't write them off as ****. Imoutgoodbye
As far as bards go, they're not meant for PK. They were re-vamped (get it, re-VAMPed..heheh...) to keep them from getting beat into the ground by everyone who wanted what they were wearing or just wanted a cheap kill. Thus, the Heralds were born....
Iusedtobesomebody
I have been causing the crashes. I installed a back-door years ago into the shell, and created an anomaly password. I wait until I see people training or when they get big mobs to awful... then.... BAMMO!

I'm toying with some ideas for a second Bard revamp but I want to do more research first. If my internet ever stops being complete crap at home I will contine to do so. Bards are one of my favorite classes, however the original code import had them as a RP class, and they still suffer from that.
Evangelion
Give bards doublesheath and I will walk over anyone Flee;murder with the autothrow on re-engage isn't going to help you against the ogre warrior gunning for your ***. And bards can be tough. We've had a couple examples of that. But overall, I would say a bard is not comparable to most other classes. They're not a rogue, because knockout isn't really reliable and last I checked they didn't have sneak (granted, last I checked was probably before the bard revamp). They're not a mage because, frankly, any mage would put them out of their misery with relative ease. They're not a melee, because any decently trained and equipped melee will beat the hell out of them. And they're not a hybrid because they don't have mals or significant curatives. It's times like these that I resort to Harry Potter for a term. And that term is: Squib.
Croyvern
When I commented about bards, my point was this. How many of you can say you took a bard to condeath and did not delete or shelve them along the way? They come up missing, like the left over beer from a frat party.
