Deykari
I have found two uses for Buddha. Nothing to write home about, but worth the 2 practices. I frequently use crane, dragon, horse and drunken in PK, in that order of how much I use them. Dey
-Totenkopf-
I dont see why monks got tonned up to tell you the honest truth. I had an early monk, air thrash didn't lag to the ****house, no second parry in offensive, and even then I managed I kick arse (I only died once to Barnok, and that was because he found me sleeping, acid blast scrolled me, and in those days ninjas had about a million autothrows). I'll also state I hadn't trained at all. You'd find my anatomies laughable. I dont even think second parry was mastered. If I had of trained the character, I don't want to know. I'd like to hear what justified the tone up.

Mudder
I personally love tiger stance. I found the Dragon phantom strikes far too unreliable while tiger occurred much more frequently.
-Totenkopf-
Doesn't matter how much skill you think you have, if you cant flee or use any abilities.
Imoutgoodbye
I'll prove they're not overpowered. I'll make one. *takes a hit off his cigarette* "Yeah, baby. That's right. I'm the lawn mower and your @$$ is grass." *muttering if monks are overpowered*

-Totenkopf-
Haha, I'd like to know what your monk smasher is. Ability to disarm noremove weapons, two at once, whilst causing you lag. Extremely hard to battle.

Deykari
It makes me laugh how all of a sudden, the finger of OP changes and points at different things. Almost makes you not want to play the damn character, especially when a lot of the time things get blown out of proportion. Dey

Zhokril
I'm not one to stifle discussion, but this thread is just full of either misleading or downright wrong information. Seems like I have said this half a dozen times in the last week, but it is not possible for a non-Barb monk to fully laglock with trips alone. I have watched the battles, and I have looked at the skill code. I am going to close this thread in the interest of not misleading people who haven't played monks before.
