Psycho Child
Alright I'm going to be the bookie on bids for what next weeks OP threads will be about. Last week was Malforms. This week is Monk Lag. Given the number of clerics I see at 50 right now I'm putting the odds 3:1 in favor of Spell Turning, 2:1 for DI. Any other thoughts? Guest emp_newb
I never said anything was OP. Do not assume I did when you read a post. I simply stated it from the view of a class that gets damage STRICTLY from spells. The fact of the matter is as an invoker, eating THAT much lag is practically suicide. It would be like fighting a war w/o prot shield. I am not saying anything is OP, monks have a hard hard time in other types of battles. I was stating this simply because I was in a fight and had at least 8 rounds where I could not enter a single command. I set one flee out to go through, it did not go through til AFTER I was dead. Psycho Child
Did I say that you said it was? Mighty defensive there.
Guest emp_newb
Well since I posted the initial thread on monk trips, and I posted the post about the amount of lag I recieved. This thread seems to be targeted at the person who supplied the original thread.
Psycho Child
No its targeted at the trend. Not at a person. If its targeted at all. Plus I'm bored. Easy mate.

WagesofSin
Mino charge will prolly rear it's ugly head. PS: As an aside, with Solec, Monks didn't pose me much of a problem. And even when I had a shaman I was able to survive a Barbarian monk and even kill him once.
Guest emp_newb
I will start logging my monk battles. Also solec had a vanguard, thats a pretty monster ability
Pali
My last invoker, as a Savant inductee, took Aokami (at T) to one spell from death (and he only won due to a skill that was since weakened). Monks require odd tactics as an invoker to kill, in my experience. Can't just go spells blazing like you can against most classes.

Evangelion
Clearly you've never played an invoker, if you have to ask that question.
Pali
invokers require skill? Nope. All you do is "dispel; hellstream; hellstream" and you've won every fight. It's that simple.

You have the ability to be always prepared, he doesnt. And back to the original thread: I'd put another, more personal, bid for Reaver Invoker. Man Iraekiira left a bad taste in my mouth... The Professor
My money is on Bards...they are OP if any class is...sheesh I thought they were suppose to be about RP...nothing but killing machines! A fair warning to all Vamps, DK's, Necro's, and Shamans...be wary...the next bard you see...just might be your last...
