These two swords should have the same stats. Be opposites of each other. Goodies have a huge damper on eq, especially weapons. (align_only weapons)
One in game only, but same stats ![]()

Why should a requestable weapon in an easily accessible area be equivalent to one in which one has to travel far away to get to? Doesn't make much sense to me.
And, to forestall anything, no posting of identifications or specific discussions of stats, please.
Move it then -shrug-
I just think with the names and potential RP behind the weapons, they should be made similiar, but direct opposites of each other. Plus, it would balance the eq a little I think too. Evils have a vast amount of avg30+ weapons to choose from.
So do goods.
You amaze me sometimes, Melinda. lol
The numbers are quite different.
Evils also have to kill those creatures, many of them which take quite some time to reach/kill, in order to retrieve those weapons.
Goodies can just type in e n n e e n e n n e e e n e n n n n e n n n e e e e e e e e e e s req 1. to get a decent weapon.
It's hard to support your argument when you don't state all the obvious and neccessary points.
Then don't argue points that are mute. If the weapon would have to be moved to accomodate such a thing, then go ahead.
The idea was just because of the potential RP behind the weapon. Or maybe I'm the only one who thinks of things like that. I see a sword named
Soulblight the Bringer of Darkness...I think wow, what crazy **** this weapon could represent w/ my character.
Lightbringer the Sword of the Elven Kingdoms....man, that sounds incredibly wicked, just like that one badass sword the evils get.......wait...this sword sucks.
I know of about eleven average 30+ weapons. Three are antigood, one is antievil. Plenty of weapons for everyone. Also, there are several weapons of other types in the range 25-28 average damage that I consider equal to or better than some of the 30+ ones. You amaze me too, Zrothum.

EDIT:
I agree with you, Zrothum. I think there should be more and stronger good only weapons, and a sword especially would be nice. Although I don't think Lightbringer is the one, for the very reasons that Raargant mentioned.
Lightbringer is already a decent sword. Except for the fact that no elf in his right mind would ever use a two handed sword. Qclass aside, that is.
Or we could just change the name of the sword.
So you want the imms to change the stats of the weapon AND move it to another location that is harder to reach?
Might as well as make 'Godforge, sword of Effervescent Holiness' and put it in a new area.
Actually, I like that name ![]()
Meli - smirk thx
Raar - defeating the purpose. Then what cool named sword worth having would the goods have?
Goomf - .....yes. ![]()
Noo! I like the sword just the way it is! Why must everything be about how powerful items are, or rather, how powerful items are not...
Because.
None, and it'd be all your fault. Although, actually, I always rather liked the Bastard Sword, or Durindel, in terms of 'cool' names (Iru Sanctum for the first, the Sword of Flame for the second).
I always liked the polearm 'Divine Right of Kings', or something like that.
Ah, yes.
All, mind you, requestable.
Yup. Just like staff of retribution. Goodies have it way too easy.
LMFAO You all are crazy
Alright, here's my idea:
Someone builds a quest area. Let's call it the Temple of Light, for the sake of discussion.
Evil beings have infested the Temple of light. They're all very powerful, and very willing to kick your ***.
However, should you manage to fight your way through the evil beings, you can reach the Sanctorium - an area with between five and ten good-aligned mobs that have some powerful, requestable good only items.
