A skill that does a ridiculous amount of damage, can be cast mid-combat, and doesn't even significantly lag the user?! That's ridiculous. I'm almost considering leaving just because of this skill. Unless it's fixed, I don't know how I can play anymore. And for those of you wondering what I'm talking about, here's a log: <212hp 1538m 372mv> <2100hours 171419exp> Your rays wound a massive hooded figure. You parry a massive hooded figure's attack. A massive hooded figure's life drain mauls you. A massive hooded figure reveals a skeletal hand! A massive hooded figure snarls and utters the word, 'Die'. Knowing that is one of the risks hehe. Frankly I am amazed you have not seen it before now. Also Im seeing 1500 mana, so I am guessing at some type of invoker (never see necros/bmgs with that kind of mana) so maybe try a mana shield next time? Sandbox Posted June 20, 2009 Report Share Posted June 20, 2009 i've seen backstab do the same damge to unsanc'd ogres, ive seen tiger strike or whatever its called do this with stored chii... everyone is cabable of doing ridiculous amounts of damage with the right gear. Hell even barbarian monks can put out this kind of damage and trample you to death at the same time, it just doesn't feel as violating because its spread over time as apposed to one spell. Same with shamans, alot of people can kill NAKED with just a flail and shield with a shaman... in fact i've seen it done. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

That is probably hard coded emote INTERNAL damage with 500-1000 points. It's probably meant to not be lived after. Like a certain trap that kill ogres. Or DeathHand. Although i hear stories of people living through it. Which is strange, because i use "Meteor Swarm" as a finisher and then, our HP is normally bellow 50%. PS: Your rays just gave me your character .
