Mudder
Mya, the kill count for RoT does not reset when the player with high kill count dies. I've experienced that first hand. And if I was not saving the spell with -100 aff saves and all my others also being very good I don't know how to save it. This was right after Behrens changed RoT to light damage. That jerk. And yes, it was steady, consistent *** OBLIT through sanc. The Cleric was lvl 48, I believe. Did I mention that?
mya
I know exactly what happened to you. But since i play mostly Clerics, i am not going to tell you. Please do not take me wrong, but ... i just don't wish to shot myself in the foot. "kill count for RoT does not reset" The kill count did not reset. Malch has hinted that in the new changes Path resets on death. I have noticed that, now, characters i kill will get hit less with Ray. Freak of luck or not. Only Malch knows. Also *** OBLIT throw Sanctuary on a class with Protection vs good ? Hard to believe, but let me tell you, if you had saved those you would only get MASSACRES. And Mudder, if you think about it, the damage you are talking about is not possible through sanctuary, protection, and a save even if you have a vuln. If that were true, that would mean ray would be capable of doing about 800 damage without the buffs.
