Warpnow
Virigoth left.(How long ago was that?) Staff decided to close the forum. Unofficial Forum rose in its place. Entire staff of FL dropped it. It was retaken over by a new staff. New staff moved to a new forum. This forum was made by Lunicant. Liches have been released. A new cabal named Tribunal has come up, a combo of Justice and Royal with an "Empire" like rp. Valmiran(raided by watcher) and Mirhuvor(conquered by Syndicate) have been destroyed and rebuilt by Tribunal, using 1.0/2.0 char names as streets Depending on how long you've been gone, new cabal called Watcher is in which dedicates itself to nature, destroying cities, and killing undead/avatar. Deykari
Yea, Watchers are cool. Hope I don't get banned for this seeing as it's Cabal info, but they have access to this cool channel called eShaine, where you can buy and auction land & trees as opposed to the armies system. Assuming you're back to play, welcome back. Now go and RP with somebody. () Dey

Chayesh
Welcome back. Now go PK somebody. Website at www.forsakenlands.org has the IC History of what happened. Viri got a job at EA and turned the mud over to Rathe. Bryntryst has to take care of some personal matters and Kalug became third IMP. After some time, Rathe, Kalug, and Mircea decided they had RL concerns that needed their time and attention (rightfully so in my opinion) and it was time to close FL. I went to Behrens and it turns out he, I, Malchaeius, and Caimor had the same good idea at the same time. After getting the OK from Viri and Rathe, FL was given to Behrens to run. We reopened the game and a new forum. Due to some OOC junk that was simply out of hand, forum rules were tightened and strictly maintained which led to some bruised egos and hurt feelings among some players. That added to the uncertainty of the MUD's future led to a decline in the playerbase (plus we "took out some garbage" so to speak). That was a little over a year ago. Since then, a completely new IMM staff is in place. Some of the changes others have mentioned already. New cabal Tribunal replaced Justice and Royals after Syndicate took over Miruvhor and Watcher laid waste to Val Miran. Cities are now rebuilt. Other new areas have been added to replace some old stock ones and also some are in the works. New class liches is taking applications. Plots are in the making. This new forum hosted by Lunicant and the new website (also hosted by him) are up and running. Playerbase numbers are rising and lots of old vets are back. Glad you could make it. Lastly, thanks for serving and making it back safely.

Designated_Driver
Just because your current Praetorians jump up and down like ninnies every time you say the phrase "Gary Coleman told you so!", doesn't mean we need more of em. Yeesh. And welcome back. Go make a Watcher/Syndicate/Nexus, and start huntin' some vampires.
Pali
Make a druid. Pound on Tribunals.
Psycho Child
There is more druids than you can shake a stick at these days. Make a Storm Crusader Praetorian Knight.
Grosek_
Nah, who needs knights? Clearly it needs to be more of Tribs natural enemies. Knights would not enjoy what will happen when they're outlawed and the only thriving Tribs are goodies. Down with Knight, Up with Syndi/Watcher. mya
Personaly i think we need more evils. Trend is, if its a fighting class is good/neutral. Mages neutral. Communer evil. What ever happened to dark knights trash at 30's ?...

Fiere
Why don't you just say "that would kill Martineius's" By the way, I think he's great. Having an uber guy around for everyone to focus on is great for the MUD.

Ex-D&Der
Why don't you just say "that would kill Martineius's" Heh I guess what's really needed is a player who can kill Martineius.
H&R
I'm sorry to say this sneak, but Nortak (or another fire giant warrior at high enough rank in Nexus) would have toasted your ogre zerk knight elder. Then again, I have never been a big fan of berserkers.
