ainbimagh
Ok well I am out again folks, the same reason I left two years ago.. Player 1 attacks you, cannot win and runs off. Player 2 attacks you, cannot win and runs off. Player 1 attacks you again, cannot win, this time too wounded you run off. Player 2 attacks you again, and cannot win and runs off. Player 3 attacks you and kills you because of it. While this may seem like a whine or rant, or whatever you want to call it. Its multiple players communicating to kill an uncabaled, underequipped pinn for whatever reason. Yes, all these players were communicating. Why do you say I know this? Because I heard them, I was told, and they were chasing me together. I've no desire to name names, just want to explain to everyone who welcomed me back why I am leaving again. And put the thought into the heads of those guilty on what they do to the playerbase.
Designated_Driver
Due to the nature of your post, I have a reasonable guess now of who you are/were. And as far as I could tell, you were being attacked because there were at least two syndicates on, you had a very hefty bounty on your head, and you had pissed at least one of those people off. Karma has a way of coming back to bite you in the ***. Unfortunately, it doesn't necessarily involve people communicating to kill you. You could, as in the situation above, just be the wrong person on at the wrong time.
ainbimagh
I would go for that, except it has been that way every single day since I've been back. I was actually attack by seven completely seperate pinnacled characters yesterday in the span of half an hour.
Raargant
Make many enemies, expect many enemies. I snooped you a few times. You had a mouth on you. Not good, unless you feel you can handle that many people...or unless you feel you can find a place to hide where you won't be found.
Pali
If you're being attacked by tons of different people, play classes that can handle it. Clerics, bmgs, etc.

Fiere
Or be able to kill the people that attack you. If they cannot kill you, I'd think you could kill them. That tends to discourage people.

Guest emp_newb
sorry to hear your leaving under those circumstances, my suggestion try a new class b/c this one is apparently not working, or stick around the lower ranks and refine your pk. 50 is where the **** hits the fans. Being ganged/fighting more than one person happens all the time. Underequipped rarely has anything to do with it. Training. Placement. and stay on top of things. Pk is more about reaction than initation. If you can react well, you will do much better. Sorry to see you go.
Fiere
I think BEING pked is more reaction than inititation, and Pking is more initiation. But I suppose that's splitting hairs.
Guest emp_newb
well regardless of who starts pk, who is going to be more effective? The one spamming bash/damaging spells/skills. Or the one reacting to each of those things and actually thinking about what is going on?
mya
The spamer basher spells. While you think he is pounding on you. 95% of the times he will win. I dont know what class he played, but you shoudl try a good cleric.
Warpnow
Spamming is a good way to get owned by an experienced player. Period. Using strategy, style, finesse and intelligence, you can outwit opponents and use strategies that are smart. Try playing a non lagging class and you will realize how very much strategy and thinking out things means. Try an invoker...talk about strategy INTENSE. Psycho Child
I'd say shamans require alot more strategy than invoker. You'd be surprised what you can do spamming with an invoker. Shaman, cleric, necro, monk, blademaster, all require alot more strategy imho.
Mister E
Thieves require a TON of strategy IMO. And Ninjas too.
Psycho Child
Thieves I agree with, ninjas I always feel trashy when I assassinate people. Dunno why, just feels like I didn't really earn the kill.
Tom
You earned it by getting the study, and by ranking a ninja to 50. That's what they're for.
Pali
Shaman vs cleric. You want to have to strategize, that's the match you engage in. As the shaman, of course.
Warpnow
Thieves, yes, require a lot. Shaman requires alot. Taking down someone like a zerker with an invoker requires immense strategy.
Pali
Taking down someone like a zerker with an invoker requires immense strategy. Or just being really fast. If you aren't really fast, then yes, immense strategy.
Psycho Child
Most of my assassinates were after about ten minutes of studying. And ranking any class to 50 ain't hard. Dunno if how hard study/assassinate is to get off changed since 2.0 though.
