KRins
Is it just me or has there been an influx of rewards getting slung around? I'm not talking about promotions after the 10 hours. I'm talking I to T in about a day. Getting your qstuff in about an hour, when the wait time has traditionally been weeks. Am I just missing something? Ghrundor
I dont know? I never even saw Klemkin until he was a level 50 psi. Where the **** did he come from? I dont even understand how all these lichs/undead/demons/psis get made but still to see one Sader since the post of the One. And all the evils get titles so quickly? Why does this seem to unbalanced? Is the game one-sided?
Ali_gmud
**** knows what happened or what he did - but that's rubbish.. that's a hefty promo man, it's certainly made me feel left in the dust.
Dale
Klemkin is a damn good player. I don't question him getting T at all, I sometimes wonder why others don't get it that quick, but the imms have a reason why they do things. As far as an unfair advantage, I don't think so. Getting sader does seem a bit more difficult, but they are also extremely powerful in the correct hands. I never played one but gave up on one recently, but it was my own fault. You just gotta put yourself out there and invest some time, worst thing they can tell you is no... well actually they make you wait for it. KRins
Klemkin is a damn good PKER. Considerably more accurate. More than once I've gotten the RP cold shoulder...even as a friend.
Sandbox
well i've been fighting against Klemkin alot and i think they earned it, they are always attacking enemy cabals and defending their own, over all they've done alot for watcher in the last few days. Malicious
RP takes considerably more patience and skill than PK. Once you learn Macros/triggers/Aliases and know the realms well enough. PK really is a breeze. I respect much more the RP man. The PK man is simply more of an annoyance.

Sandbox
Apparently my last point did not get across...RP enforced mud with PK. More than nuff said. i'm not sure how good their rp was or is, as their usually asleep when i try to talk to them, however it couldnt be horrible if they managed to get psi as well as (T) in a few days. Its always easier to judge others when we are not in their shoes.
Psycho Child
I was just talking to a Crusader online about an hour or two ago. And rping with Klemkin even more shortly ago. Maybe its you guys? Oh and rping and pking with the latest lich before that. Maybe I'm just a lucky guy.
f0xx
Klemkin was an invoker for quite some time. Not just that but he is *very* active and quite cool. Now why don't we stop being so jealous eh? And to whoever plays Gorbak, you seems so bitter (ingame) that it is getting OOC. I don't want this to sound like af flame, but after I shelfed Sciscuri, I've you him (Gorbak) online a couple of times. I knew he died to some of the syndicates and then just disappeared. Those were tough times for Watcher. Zalozen just deleted and Kurvikhel was at his most active. That was a month and a half ago. I even had a feeling he shelfed or something. Then you come online today (when watcher is standing strong) and start acting quite bad (to put it soft) about Klemkin and another watcher getting T before you. No offense mate, but I lost a lot of respect I previously had for you when I saw that. I almost couldn't believe it. Now KRins of course will say that this is due to being good at PK. Guess what, he RPs quite well too. Now all you who blame the IMMs for giving Klemkin a T, put yourself on their places. We recently had a thread about how long it takes to get T/E in cabal. Now this guy comes, who has good RP/PK, is ****ing active, loyal and has no fear (which is not a good thing sometimes) about his own safety, and gets T in a matter of days and you all start whining. I really can't understand you. Do you prefer waiting for months to get to T? PS. IMMs edit my post if you feel like it is a flame, I just had to get it off my chest. jibber
I see no problem with it. Immortals are doing what we asked. More quest classes and races in a smaller time frame, and more promotions to even the playing fields. Although I've not RP'd at all with Klemkin, I'm sure what he's done and where he's at is very much deserved. Good job to him, and damn well done. Personally, I see him around a lot more than any other Watcher.. so.. I don't see a problem with it. If you're not around enough you don't deserve promotions. Let's stop throwing crap at other people and strive for what we want ourselves. Go strike up some RP with the latest Watcher.. I doubt you'll get the cold shoulder -- if you do, then bring it to the Prayer forum. Last I heard, qraces/classes are supposed to be RPing constantly along with any PK they contribute to. Especially a neutral.
Mali
More rewards means more for you too! By the way, I've had characters on the fast track before right up to level 59. On the other hand, I've had characters with countless hours that never get noticed. Some characters 'click' with others and they get rewarded. Just like in real life, alot of it is timing, who you know, and sometimes pure luck. If you feel like you are waiting for something just play to play. No point just waiting if you aren't having fun! Play for fun and good things will come to you. In fact I posted a video in the OOC lounge just for this type of situation the other day. My best times are when I play with a lightheart, ready to accept what comes good or bad, and for pure enjoyment.
Gradrel
First of all, he didn't go from I to T. He's put his time in, and earned his promotion.
Imoutgoodbye
Wow....talk about a thread needing locking. You got a problem with the "reward" system? Don't care about the way a certain character is being "Almost OOC"? Take it to the prayer forum instead of singling them out on the forums in front of the PB. Your attitude could taint someone who's never met that character.
Jacobis
And we're done. Bring these issues to the prayer forum, where you can get the real skinny without dragging anyone else through the mud.
Implementor Anume Posted June 26, 2009 Implementor Report Share Posted June 26, 2009 And I hope you people are happy now with having caused another very interesting character to delete. You have no idea how dissapointing it can be at times to read threads like this one.
