Imoutgoodbye
Use haste when training your weapon. It will cut your training time in half. Also Rank up always using a Practice weapon, for the same reason. 1 attack and no enhanced damage, leaves you with a awful meele output. Keep a staff for PK. Or a weapon with good coded damage, like the short Katana, or the staff of fangs. Some Bmage prefer to use a shield on off hand due to AC bonus. I say use a staff/wand. Sanctuary, curatives, or Word can save your day. As most non c/c will go for the dirt a low-mid ranks leaving you with the chance to Sanct up even blind. Use slow in a Savant area while mastering spells. Master Terra by 30. Master Dancing blades by spam-casting as soon as you can. Master rust. Master Flashfire. Colour spray will go up as you rank. If you need more advise just ask. *falls over laughing*
L-A
Don't spam blades - it will master by lvl 50. As wil dancing blade. Don't train colour spray - you'll probably have it to 97 or so by the time you stop casting it. I never even bothered training a bmages weapons - just rotate them ranking. All to 80, then all to 90 and so on. Staff will master VERY fast - and you use that for mastering parry. You already have a lot of defenses that discout blindness and whether you know the weapon type. If you're betting on parry to save you then you're doing it wrong. Terra is spamable - I'm unsure if you can train it faster like a normal defense. I don't know if its reall necessary by lvl 30 though it is nice to have. If you don't have anything better to do I guess - but don't give up a group for it. Metoer swarm also rocks... L-A PS - sharpmetal masters by lvl 50 if you cast it while ranknig too. Can't train it like a normal defense... and until either 25 or 30, it's pretty useless in PK anyways, so wait until then to do it unless you're just using the casting exp as a way to rank. Mudder
I could've sworn I have "gotten better at terra shield" through using it as a defense.. Actually, I think it was blur. One of them anyway.
Pali
I'm pretty sure neither of them do. It's been a while since I've played a bmg, I'll admit, but I can remember trying to do those through use without it working.
