RP is its own reward.

Per se. PKing got all sort of bonuses only because people are couraged to PK (as if they'd need it, yea right).

But I personally try avoid PKs in cases where I would have only "because I can"-reason. But after all, I don't play evils...

RP rewards are: fame

fame can be: fear, respect, titles.

when you put them both together, that's when it's gets to be a complete character.

one without the other is just a shame. Then again, if done correctly, RP can result in gold, gear, and myriad other things. It depends on who you RP with, and what you do.

all ideas being made with good intentions and so on, notwithstanding....

this is one of the worst ideas i've read. wc, designated, already replied with complete explanations more eloquent than i can think out. you cant meddle with RP in the form of code or even overly stringent human monitoring. that is when it stops being genuine RP. "A watched RP never succeeds."

As has been said before, rp should be its own reward.
