Evangelion
So I mentioned earlier this week that I work in the Library on campus. During the summer, this means that I sit at a desk with a computer all day, and do absolutely nothing. I have no homework to do, no projects to finish, no real goals to accomplish, but I can't really get up and just wander around - I pretty much am confined to this darn computer... What this means for you is that I want entertainment. I know the people we have on this forum are capable of trolling, so let's get to it!

Hegemon
Balinor, Try Battle for Wesnoth. It is a free, open source turn-based strategy game with RPG like elements that can run on just about anything. Or, if that's not your thing, try Subspace: Continuum. It is a multiplayer 2D Space Shooter. I play in a zone called Hyperspace where you get money and xp for kills which you use to buy guns/bombs/sublight engines/armor/whatever to make yourself more powerful. Of course the problem with these is that you have to actually install the programs. If that's not possible, let me know and I will delve further into Hegemon's Free No-Hardware Required Timesink Files .
Guest emp_newb
www.adom.de Insanely fun, 100% turn based, IMPOSSIBLE to get bored of (as the game changes each and every time you enter a new room, or create a new character) I highly recommend browsing the guidebook. Guest emp_newb
I kept dieing' date=' so got pissed off wit hit.[/quote'] Yea, roll something besides a druid And, read the damn guidebook. At least the starting pointers. Jumping into that game without knowing anything is like having a level 50 ogre war in FL as your first mud char EVER. You will get pillaged. Celerity
I was addicted to ADOM for quite awhile...I really like it and other rogue-likes. That game is all about not dying, so super defensive is the way I had the most success---healer all the way! My drow assassin also got pretty far, but there is no way I will ever actually clear the game
Guest emp_newb
I cleared the game with a level 44 dwarven weaponsmith (I recited a scroll of familiar summoning blessed in the dwarven halls, got a named greater moloch ) That charmie really cleared most everything, giving me huge piles of gear. corpsestomp
I don't have the patience to figure that game out. Also, digyourowngrave.com is a place to go for browser games. Try dice wars, it's what I use when I'm training.
