tassinvegeta
This was just a story I thought I'd share. It occured from my point of view with one of my old chars far back. It was something that truly inspired me even to this day. Any of you have any others you'd like to share? The hoardes of Nexus marched upon us. Our brethren held there ground. I held our ground. The warmaster were far from defeat. Yet it was not until it was announced that two of their Dark Lords stepped upon the battlefield, that our losses began to multiply. Lords Azantar and Covus marched upon us, driving back our forces like a hot swathe through butter. They focused upon the of core our power, our leaders, upon myself. As a fire and a master berserker of my guild I found myself in battle against the undead Azantar whom I believed was inferior to my ability. The battle was quick and relentless as I enraged and threw myself at him mercessily only to have him evade nearly everyone one of my blows and counter with his own more powerful ones, for the first time I knew I was going to die. It was not long before I had exhausted my ability and succumbed to his powers. His victory was flawless. With the battle nearly won by the awesome power of the Nexus, it seemed the Warmaster was on the verge of crumbling. It was up to our last hope, the Ogre whom has come to be known as the Ferocious War-khan...Rompkei. And I was given the chance to watch onward as a spirit. To my surprise our leader had not fallen but was able to stand his ground. The two dark lords fought together and yet still they could not defeat him. What madness is this? I've asked. These two dark warriors were the strongest most frightening I've seen and yet Warlord Rompkei was able to stand up to them. It was not long until the Warmaster struck back with a crushing blow in defeating Azantar before my spirit drifted away. I can only imagine what had occured to Covus now that he was alone. alldaymuddin
Wonderful That was a nice story, I forget who I was in nexus at that time, though I know the character was not worth remembering.

Ali_gmud
Kaylia explodes, a powdery dust spills from it. Taeromaus looks very ill. Taeromaus appears to be blinded. Kaylia has been paralyzed! Azantar was the man, I didn't have much interaction with Covus though, pretty sure he was a drow shaman just bouncing around in nexus, who was rompkei? the only sexy warmaster I remember from memory was Grunge, and in his time there was a immortal played human berserker, the name is gone from memory though. Sexy story, short, but sexy.
alldaymuddin
You havent seen A great shaman if you dont know who Covus was. I'm my opinion I have never seen a greater shaman, he was one of my bestest friends, I used to sit in his room watching him play and how he managed to kill soo many people amazed me. Sorry my opinion is bias, but he was great! Oh, I think I was a battlemage in nexus when they were around, Vaeren or some such person who was not good enough for memory. by the way.. Kaylia only beat me in those challenges because I am half retarted.. I seem to work hard to get myself killed.

tassinvegeta
Rompkei was one of the few WM leaders that existed. And the strongest and most well rounded Warrior I've personally ever faced till this day. Covus the nightmare priest was a pretty scary drow shaman in Nexus I've heard. Maybe he was the one that brought about some of those pande changes. I was so amazed at how he was able to utterly destroy enemies that I couldn't even touch. I remember the odds being like 4 Savants to 1 against me and I could barely get a draw against one of them. Next thing I know he logs in and kills all of them within only minutes/seconds of each other. Oh boy I wish I could re-live those days. I didn't know how the reactions to this story would be so I didn't make it very long and didn't add much depth and sensory to it.
Dale
Another thing about Covus he lived for a good amount of time, and was not only sucessful but consistant. Also, he lived two lives, I don't know if he deleted, or what, but he did recreate and start again. Only to get more potent the second time around. I don't even want to go into Azantar, that bastard was scary.
alldaymuddin
Heh Another thing about Covus he lived for a good amount of time, and was not only sucessful but consistant. Also, he lived two lives, I don't know if he deleted, or what, but he did recreate and start again. Only to get more potent the second time around. I don't even want to go into Azantar, that bastard was scary. Personally being there in his room watching him play, He deleted, he had a temper and would rage delete. I think thats where I get it from.. Yes, he made another and got better, I think that Covus was his second shaman ever.. Azantar was a beast, a scary mofo indeed. Zhokril
I'm pretty sure Covus was one of many that re-created their character after the pwipe.
Deykari
I'm certain it wasn't, because I fought the first Covus with my very first ever pinn here, and then I was about for his remake too. I wasn't around during the pwipe times or anything... Dey
Guest emp_newb
I concur with Dey. I was here for both Covus, and I came after the Pwipe. And I also agree with the Azantar comment. He is, to this day, the only person to ever hit me for a non vuln unspeakable.

Aulian
I'm pretty sure Covus was one of many that re-created their character after the pwipe. He is 100% correct. 'Warmongrel' created covus again after the pwipe and continued to do as well if not better at the second character.
Aulian
Damn' date=' well lets see how long has forsaken been around? It's been a great that amount of time. And those of you who drifted with me from abandoned realms when forsaken was first being tested, Hell yeah! Ar SUCKS! [b']haha, anyway though, just deleted Carroin and Covus, it's been a blast with both of them. Got to know a lot of you pretty well during my ten thousand hours I sat infront of this damn computer playing this game. Got too much going on right now to play so I figured the only way to stay off would be to delete all my favorite characters, GOD was it hard to let go of Covus though, I feel so ancient, and such a badass title. Anyway, gonna miss you all, especially the imm staff you guys have been great, thanks a million for putting so much time and dedication into this game. And I'm sure one day I will be back, so all of you who know me DONT give me the ip in six months! Good luck to all of you, and most of all HAVE FUN! IT'S A FREAKING GAME! ENJOY IT! Stan Winner?! Mindflayer
I believe the first Covus was played by the same player as Senrail. Azantar was played by The Forsaken.. whatever happened to him!? I remember playing my first illithid necromancer.. three Traven's strong.. and then Azantar caught the jump on me.. blackjacked, backstabed.. stunned me and laughed.. and went back into the shadows leaving me stunned on wall road, northeast of Rheydin.
