Imoutgoodbye
Begins in November! Yay! And Charisma Carpenter will guest appear as a Mord-Sith in the first episode. Too bad they didn't capture the essence of Richard and Denna as it was in the book...god, the beauty of that perverse love still haunts me. EDIT: Should mention that the show is based on the Sword of Truth series by Terry Goodkind. And don't bother reading past the first book. I read up to seven and it kept degenerating after the first. jibber
Let's hope they do better at this .. season. So far it's semi-followed the book, but at its best, it's not even close. I really hope it gets more on track, because this is a great series/book.
Imoutgoodbye
It's Sam Raimi...he will stray farther and farther and farther. Especially if he gets bored with it....
inscribed
i've never read the book, but i really enjoyed the first season. the first couple of episodes had some pretty corny fight scenes and used slow motion to a ridiculous extent, but it improved as the season progressed. sam raimi is always good for a watch... well, at least until the ending of 'drag me to hell'. Croyvern
I hate this show Reverend they so screwed up the timeline of the stories. And if the Actor playing Richard has a raptor gaze I will kiss your toe. Zed is suposed to look like a wizard not an old cowboy. And most important, a Daharan Soldier should be the scariest thing a man could encounter. But still, its better than big brother.
Imoutgoodbye
But still' date=' its better than big brother.[/quote'] Precisely. There's nothing else on TV like it and usually the best I can hope for from a book adaptation (especially where Raimi is involved) is that he TRIES to capture the spirit.
