Balgashang
I know if Dodge is mastered for example, you're going to dodge more then if it was at 75%, but do spells proficeny's have to do with how well they work? Blur for example, if its mastered, would an opponent miss you more often, or does the spell just last longer and is easy to cast at mastery? FatMike
I don't know about that particular spell but you lose concentration far less and with a defensive spell like that it probably makes opponents miss more if it's mastered(don't know for sure though). Maybe less upkeep and a little longer duration also, not certain though.
mya
Rumor is that it helps. Just think terra shield, that thing never works at low levels, but at 50th mastered it works. Some spells get added effects at higher than 100%. Especialy as a battlemage.
Pali
Trust me. When playing a battlemage, mastering your main spells is MORE than worth it.

Guest emp_newb
well I believe a battlemage is a very spell reliant class as far as proficiency goes. I believe several battlemage spells are alot more effective at higher %. Although don't quote me on that eh? I am in fact the emporer of newbs. jb5679
Yeah, the main spells a bmg has -have- to be mastered, some go up on their own but some do not. If they aren't mastered theres no use trying to pk, hah.
