Red Vs Blue

Mali

I like it. Since I can't log much time, I feel more comfortable in the mud. I don't play a PK heavy character to begin with, so it's a win win. The rare thing doesn't bother me, since I barely use them. I feel more comfortable to RP even with people around with the PK flag up.

BTW, I like the Troll Fro.

Well I like it because it makes trying new combos easier since you dont have to worry about full looting which means you can bounce back faster. Because of this I am not afraid to try classes that I was hesistant to try before. Though I have been wondering about if it is possible to go from Moderate to Ruthless.

I dislike it cus sometimes you are hurting for something and the guy you just killed has it' date=' but its not rare so you are ***ed out.[/quote']

I actually have found this somewhat annoying on my first few kills with my last couple chars... when you're in newbie arena eq and some guy with levels and full 30 nonrare eq attacks you and you kill him, damnit, that eq sure would be nice.

Luckily, those idiots usually delete after a death anyways, so you can get it by pit sitting. ;)

You're a sick, sick man. Good to see you haven't changed from the 'hide in your cabal and study you' days :-)

Hey, next time at level 11 your elf paladin in newbie eq kills an ogre warrior at 14 in full mithril/rings/necklaces and you can't take any of it, you tell me it isn't annoying. ;)

true or false;

Answer as honestly as you can.

1) A blue character can enter any cabal.

2) A blue character can apply for restrings/custom races.

3) A blue character can apply for allignment/ethos changes.

4) A blue character is invulnerable from repeat attacks by the same red character.

Seriously curious here. Explanation; Croyvern was the father of compassion. Friendly and honest to a fault. But he was a drow so all drow hunted him. It seems to me that if all the above are true, that certain actions such as an allignment/ethos change that may result in "outcast" status should also alter the "color" of the character. This is just an opinion, any thoughts?

I could really only see you being able to change from Ruthless to Moderate and not the other way around, if it's even possible.

That way you can't rank to 50 in the moderate protection bubble and then all of a sudden decide that you want to be ruthless and get all the perks without the drawbacks you get by being a moderate char while ranking.

As RP should always be a living breathing beast, I could see why you might want to change downward, but upwards I doubt will ever be allowed.

We might allow a switch from moderate to ruthless if it is a character that has started as a relative newbie and developed a lot in a long, long life. It still would have to be applied for and we would discuss it amongst the staff before granting it.

1) yes

2) yes / no (restrings yes, qrace no)

3) yes, that is a rp tool, open to all

4) mostly ;) (if the moderate attacks a cabal guard/ altar he is open to attack again, apart from cabal war there is a timer: during a certain time the char cannot be attacked again by the one who recently killed him, after that time has passed he can be attacked / killed by the same char again)

I personally will never cross over to blue, nor have had a problem with blue pk. Typically I never, ever full loot unless it is ABSOLUTELY necessary. If I find it necessary against a blue, I will most definitely be noting to immortal about it. That being said: I think the most I've ever looted in a first pk vs another was 1-2 items anyway, and usually rare. Looting teeth necklaces and other crap from a blue is lame. They're usually blue because they're new anyway. Why get upset? You stomped them without it, right? Right. :)
