Trash Killing?

Hey guys, I have just come back after about a year and a half away, this time. I decided to roll just one character and picked a Human DK. I got killed by a party member at level 12 or 13. I remember back when I used to play any kills under level 20 were considered trash kills. There was no attempt at RP during said kill, no warning, and I had no gear worth stealing except the dagger same character had given me. He had been doing warmaster RP to this point, funny then how he tracked and hunted me at that level when I was invis.

I guess I am asking if things have changed so much in my absence?

I dont really care I'am just trying to decide if I want to come back.

Another thing, you are a DK, the epitome of evil (minus Qrace/class). You should expect random people to kill you and full loots you. Because they are expecting you to do the same.

Another things, ditch the Human. Take an Avian DK, much more powerful, and you will not die Trip locked. Only thing human has going for it is low xp and 21 STR that gains you access to some weapons.

Drows are weak due to their Sanctuary sources. Once you get to 50 ... all other DK's have it more easy. That is why you see few of them.

Btw, "There was no attempt at RP" and "He had been doing warmaster RP to this point" contradict each other a bit.

PS. This kind of stuff is to be brought to the prayer forum btw, with exact details of the situation, since it is quite easy to make yourself look like a innocent pray in the eyes of the forums users without giving any particular details of the situation.

I'm with Jibber. If you're a paladin and he's a dk and you're both level 15. You tell me one ****ing good reason right now, that they shouldn't be at eachother's throats. I'll get my thumping stick ready.

You'll notice however, that my stance on looting, RP before and after etc, hasn't and won't change. It's the same as at level 30,45, and pinn. I'm a fan of RPing the situation out. I'm a fan of not being a dick in an OOC manner and looting ethereal sleeves, maybe mithril. Simply that I think it's legit to be killing at 15, killing those in the fields even, though those pks are never fun, and if you RP it out, it's less cheap because they've been warned. ( Oh no, they can prepare now? )

Agreed. PK is allowed at early ranks for a reason. If this silent killer continues this sort of behavior, I am sure an IMM will take notice. Maybe he had a very solid reason to kill you but didn't feel like telling all about it. If not, he'll get caught for being an a**hat.

He said he was in a party. So I am pretty sure they were all evil or neutral. Which in that case would be a valid pk, because evils are meant to be violent and spontaneous if that is there ethos and rp.

If you really think it was trashy in the manner they interacted with you, take it to the prayer room. This will easily turn into another flame fest.

As was already said, if you feel anything unjust / trashy happened to you, please post on Prayer, giving us all details and we will look into it.

Pk is allowed from the moment you have a flag beside your name, however masskilling in the low ranks, esp. with poor rp, will result in the Immortals stepping in.
