Pali
I still say we should go back to bounties not transferring any EQ, at all, to the person who placed the bounty. If you want them dead, fine - but bounties should not be a way to equip. EDIT: Want a way to make Syndicate more of a trading cabal as well? I say instead of eq from bountied people going to the person who placed the bounty, it goes into a Syndicate vault, and periodically Syndicate can send out lists of what EQ is available and for what price to everybody and people could have bidding wars (or duels, etc.) for it. This vault could be purged daily (or whatever time period) to prevent rares from just piling up in there, it'd up circulation, and it'd make Syndi even more money! What's the downside here? Teralis
Very well said and I agree 1000000 %. I would like to see more rp reasons for the bounty and not just how you put it a large investment for 50k gold to receive 1/4 to 1/2 set of rares. I would suggest those items which are in the vault not to be counted towards the rare count as well, just as bountied items do not count at the moment. -Totenkopf-
I agree, bounty system is broke. I have to agree with alot of the above mentioned. Quite an idea there you have Kaylia, of them having to REMOVE a piece of good (power fists, adeptus legs, nice weapons etc) armor to get any benefit. God forbid they had to offer something half way useful. Certain syndi skills can sap ALOT of CP's. I get sick of chasing people around for something that is utterly useless, both to myself or anyone else. Thus, this makes it worthless.
Pali
I would suggest those items which are in the vault not to be counted towards the rare count as well' date=' just as bountied items do not count at the moment.[/quote'] I figured purging the vault very regularly (far more often than characters are purged) would accomplish the same goal, but either way works. Regardless, I've been against bounties transferring EQ ever since it was implemented. Having someone you aren't capable of killing yourself killed is a worthy enough goal to devote some cash to - I've never liked that you get the EQ of your target as well, because while it encourages more bounties to be placed, it simultaneously encourages bounties to be placed just for EQ rather than you having a solid RP reason to want that person dead. It gives Syndicate more work... but frankly, I'd find Syndicate a more impressive cabal if it killed less often but on a more high-end scale than I do now. Have them charge more, have more things factor into the cost and what the bountier gains... whatever, I don't know, I just hate how it's a "pay some easy-to-get crap and potentially get a lot of awesome stuff through no real work of your own" system right now. Right now the vault's my best idea outside of just removing the Syndi auto-loot entirely and leaving it up to the Syndi what EQ the target finds on his corpse - just like any other PK.
