Well, thats all she wrote. Had a great time, but felt like it was up for one reason or another. Really, really enjoyed it.

Shout Outs:

Masokant- By far my favourite enemy. You gave it as good as you got, and there wasn't any complaining from either side. Cheers.

Philiantees- Sorry I quit before you got to beat me ;) Great fights, and obviously vast sliding in performance from my end. If the trend kept I was scewed. Well played.

Caidon - Absolutely phenomenal. Keep up the good work.

Knights - Really enjoyed the comraderie. Kinivus and Malion, would have loved to see you more!

The Deacon Israyus/Haesierph - beautifully played. Thanks for enriching the experience.

Palwen - My recharge store! Saved me a lot of time. Muchas Gracias.

Everyone else - great times. Thank you one and all. If I've forgotten you I apologize, this was my longest char in a while.

Some quick musings while I have the spotlight (I'm a narcissist and simply can't resist)

1. Evil's get better titles than goods. I was putting down spectral hands of death and razor beasts and awesome rift *** kicker face crunchers. And all I got was an honorary ;) (in good humor, in good humor).

2. To people who complain about monks being overpowered: monks are an incredibly, incredibly vulnerable class. I would be happy to write an essay on how to take them apart, but then no one would ever be able to play them again. If you were a specific combatant of mine and you want some hints, drop me a PM. Very few classes are sol (invokers...?) are SOL against them. The people I regularly tooled over simply refused to update their tactics.

3. Nerfing equipment/classes/cabals/races leads to a more boring game. Trust me.

I sacrificed all the Mega Eq, so let the raids begin! (Well, except for 2 pieces which I couldnt. Grumble. The best, naturally.)

Peace!

Auzzie

Awesome char! When I played Masokant you were dangerous to fight, but so was I. Knight vs. Nexus, demon vs avatar (not sure if you were avatar then?) high risk, high damage output fights. Can it get more awesome than that? :)

You approached my current char, but I was busy with other things, and then you logged out. And now you deleted :/ Ah, well. Great char.

Good char. In the begining I would be able to actually make you flee and maby nearly kill you. Some how that changed and I could not really do much.

Never got to repay you for that one kill :(.

One thing you did teach me, was never command stack. Against a monk, that is very crucial.

Meh, I am not scared, but it is probably why I also ended up dead. Go in there guns blazing, hitting only his guard because I am perma dirt kicked. Get killed, full looted/sacced. If once wasn't enough, I decided to do it twice :P

To answer your question Khaede as to what happened to allow me to roll you a bit more. Nothing.

I don't remember if you recall the fight near my cabal, but I walked you there as well. It was fighting at your cabal that did me in every time. You did well to ensure I was dirt kicked and could not engage you. Once you had a half dozen rounds on me where I hadn't even hit you (or even I did hit you for a few rounds, and you fled and returned so I wasn't targetting you again and probably almost recouped any hp lost in the few rounds you were taking damage) I was pretty much screwed.

When Lahnidas asked me to distract you whilst they regained their standard, in my head, I was thinking here we go again, I am going to end up toast. I really didn't want to go anywhere near your cabal :D

Nooooooooooooooo! It seemed like you were Aabahran's last great hero. Through all our fights you dominated my evil char like no other. Through one of our fights I actually managed to get a glimpse of the eq you had and noticed you were tattoo'd also  . Knowing that at least raised my pride a bit. You were a shining example of what to look up to. We need more of them these days. But why are you not playing him anymore?

Sorry to see you go Salith and sorry I havent played Kinivus lately just got tired of the whole cleric shaman = dead thief. Knights is fun but I realize while it is good to have allies in the shadows there will be times when you will have to go head to head with these and to me fighting those types I take a long time stripping what I can but surprise is mainly my first offense, and it seemed these were allways poisoned and Lahnidas you are beasty my anti magic dont even help with you. So for now i think Kinivus is going to slather the cities of darkness at his elements. I hope you make a new char and grats on Salith can say I never fought you but that was because I would see evil after evil die and figured I didnt want to stack to those corpses totals hehe. gl

EDIT: Also would like to opologize and thank Haesierph for the chance to get into Knights and sorry for being an utter failure, defenatly not as sucessful af I was with Malosos but hey been awhile since Ive played that one too. Also want to say sorry to the other Knights for not being around much this last month, Not deleteing but you will still have an ally in the shadows from time to time just have another project going right now that is much more sucessful.

Thanks everyone for the kind words. Like I said, really enjoyed the character. My reasons for leaving were fairly simple, and 90% IRL. Starting a new job this week and the little free time I have should be spent boozing/acting like a silly bugger/sleeping, so I'll be walking away from the mud for a while (although who ever really stays away).

Been a long line of characters! From kentry/kalith/arath/azun all the way to salith, thanks players for making me have such a blast and thanks to the imms for making it happen. I'll probably write an essay or two on PK to help level the playing field publicly instead of just giving my knowledge to a select few, but feel free to PM anyway.

Best,

Auzzie
