The-Nameless
Why does it seem like everyone has a need to full loot, everyone has a need to gri nd their opposition into the dust. To create such insane hate in game. I realize some people are your enemies, but is your goal really to ca use people to just quit playing the game? That is what you accomplish with 100% full sacs when your fighting people you beat, or are less skilled than you. Like I said I realize this is a game, but the difference between your IC aggression, and your OOC aggression seem so rarely differentiated. I see people whos soul reason for pking is STILL unkown to a few of my main characters. Hell there is one guy I fight almost daily who has said 3 words to me my entire relati onship with them. Guys, just remember, this is a game. Its not life, or death. It is not a single player game. Sure full saccing a guy 7 ranks under you who was in mithril seems awesome. But if your a decked T cabaler in a suit of gear Malch wo uld blush at, do you really need to sac that st uff you have not bothered using since you where level 30? Remember, this is a community, and we do not have to be here. If you want people to play, treat them with some respect. *Not brought on by any deaths, loots, r obbings, or pks. Just observations. Reccum
Welcome to FL. This is not new. There are too few players, too much anger, everyone wants vengeance, and everyone wants to run around in a God suit in a giant virtual pissing contest. Some players are true to their characters, they go up, they go down, they RP it out and they duke it out. Others ride high till they die, then go out in a flaming rage delete only to return eventually and start all over. Sadly I think powergaming trumps everything else here. It is all about how fast someone can get that uber combo trained, caballed, trusted, and decked to begin their reign. Some have fun while doing it, some rp well while doing it, some even show class while doing it. At the end of the day this is a hell of a fun game, but for some it is only fun when you are dominating, and the more people you can crush under your boot and grind the better it is. Others who do not feel the same way find themselves doing it anyway just so they can stay afloat. If there were 50 people on, 60% of whom were in mundane eq, it would be a different game. It would be a lot more fun I think.

The-Nameless
I remember when I could get basic re equip gear, tainted/mithril and be viable, now your either in a 50/50 hit dam suit , or 50+ saves to be worth anything at all. jibber
I almost wanna say "that's why we have a moderate tier", but every time I've died I've come back to a stark naked corpse. I kinda agree with this.. But I'm a culprit for full loots too.

Then you reequip in an ok suit, lose to the same person, take a full loot. Then wh ile re eq uipping you take a full loot. Then a week later you take a full loot in crap you can get in 5 minutes. It gets old. I reali ze everyone wants to dominate, but how can you expect to have anyone to dominate if the respect you show consists of a full loot without a single word for anyone you kill. You want competition, you want to be the best? Maybe you shou ld consider leaving some gear for people wh o you are fighting. If yo uhave a full suit of adeptus, there is no reason other than grinding in an already hard loss for saccing their titanium fullplate. If your wielding Hells Fury, why the hell are you looting someones sharp glaive? I realize there are going to be the "harden up" posts, and the "welcome to FL" posts, bottom line is this is not what FL was 7 years ago. This is what the PLAYERS have let it evolve to. One person f ull sacs, then the person they sacced gets s omeone else, full sac. I have been attacked by a th ief wi thout a drop of rp, all he said was he was gonna hit me in the fa ce with his sack. How close to OOC do you wanna get. Just remember In game if you want people to be here, you might have to leave them a damn light.
-Totenkopf-
5 last deaths, 5 full loots. I expect it. Doesn't bother me too much. I am running out of time to continue to spend hours reequiping though, so I might be throwing up the white flag sometime soon. Some people may say otherwise (as they'd be the few that I full loot) but I more often then not only take what I require, and leave the rest. I often even return the bag of goodies to my opponents, as its not my characters purpose to go about collected uneeded goods. Some people fly into a rage and have a big dummy spit when they get a full loot. I experience this every day. Meanwhile, I just walk away calmly. I treat this as what it is, a game. Some people have a very heavy OOC emotional attachment. Every pdeath on this character I've taken a full loot or sac (as sacing me is VERY easy). I've never once gone borderline OOC in rage. Usually if I've got time I get straight into gaining some basic gear. Slowly build my way back up by popping targets off and taking what I need. I cop alot of borderline OOC flak though, quite often. ~30-40% of pkills I estimate. It pisses me off more then anything else.
Implementor Anume Posted November 15, 2009 Implementor Report Share Posted November 15, 2009 If you are badass, expect a fullloot every death. It's normal. If you are relatively easy to kill and get full looted every time, it might be you gave offense verbally. We've had however plenty of threads discussing full loot or not, so let's not have yet another.
Lytholm
This is ONE of the reasons why we have a moderate thread - not all, but one. C'mon, try moderate for your next character and see if you like it more.... Lytholm.

Implementor Anume Posted November 15, 2009 Implementor Report Share Posted November 15, 2009 The length you have to wait for a qrace is often directly related to your own efforts in game. If we see you do nothing that is helpful we often go in doubt for you and wait and watch a bit more to see if you actually produce something valuable. We could instead just reject chars that are only spelltraining or doing nothing whenever we watch them right fast if you'd prefer that... Of course there are a few exceptions to this rule when we just don't manage to run into you, but I'd say that is really an exception only.

Croyvern
Oh I am so making a smurf! JK Considered it in the past and figured Malch would rename the marmelade cat Azreal. As for full loots, I have only been full looted once in the last three years and that was, as stated by Eshaine, after a quite lengthy verbal assault, and arresting the dark knight. I neither blamed him or considered it wrong in anycase. I third Lytholm's statement. Try Moderate. I only play reds because I want to carry many rares, it is for this reason I am more likely to be heavily looted, others may like my treasures and its easier and faster to kill me than to run through gear on your own. Aabahran is a hard world, a harsh life awaits those who horde pretty baubles, I am in no way saying get used to it. I am merely making an observation. In all honesty I believe I have seen more posts related to full loots in the last three years than I have actually witnessed or been victim of in the last eight. H&R
Heh. I get full-looted, or nearly full-looted, pretty often. I just take a day off, then I'm right back at it again That's why I love playing combos that have unsacable/creatable weapons (cause you can re-eq on people with just your weapons, right balinor? ) or aren't that heavily eq dependant. I full loot if someone is a real pain and especially if they are a ranger, blademaster, ninja or a well played thief (I have a very special dislike toward those classes), or if I feel that they need to be stripped because they are ungodly strong with their eq. Otherwise, I'm nice

Nekky
I never full-looted you, and you were a large sized pain in my arse ;p I always thought it was kind of cool to insult your enemies by acting like, "I don't even need to loot you. Come back any time." In an IC way, I mean. OOC I was thinking, "I really should loot this guy, or I might be dead soon." ;p
H&R
Yeah, well. I wouldn't have full-looted Gorbak either (not saying you weren't a strong, cause you were.). But I sure as hell would have taken your nimbus and mask, grr. Freaking life-insurance
jibber
It seems those who get those two beautiful items are usually perma-life insuranced. Or, just incredibly, ungodly, hard to kill.

English lad
The last time I had the nimbus was on Daviaus, I had it for a fair bit, without having life insurance, then got lag locked by some monk while in the process of killing a nexus. The monk then apologised, saying that it was an accident, but by the time i got back to my corpse the nexus cleric I had already killed had looted both mine and his corpse. Good times.
