Goomf
Colorado is roaring?! Maybe in Denver, but try getting a job in Colorado Springs! My girlfriend JUST got a job at Country Buffet, and I just got a new job over at BK as a Shift Leader/Management. Not getting what I was hoping, but I'm getting more money then I was at Walmart as a Sales Associate down here (got terminated because it was a seasonal position, and they didn't want me anymore) and even then, it took me forever to just get a reply from BK. Desk jobs, can't get, they're all looking for women to do them. The Country Buffet position my girlfriend got, was after I applied, and then she applied. I swear, people aren't looking for Waiters anymore, they HAVE to be WAITRESSES. I've applied to almost every company here, and I have an ASC in Computer Progamming and working on a Masters in Comp Science. They just won't hire me. Bleh. Polish up your resume and go get a job in the computer industry. Sure it might not be as fun as waitering (?) but in the long run, it will WELL be worth it. I literally had an employer, who KNEW I had a full time job, because he had worked with me, call me up to offer me $6,000 a year more than I make now to move to his company. Engineers are in huge demand up here. (I refused because I'm an honest man) I admit I'm in the Denver Metro, but help wanted signs are everywhere up here. It's only a 1.5 to 2 hour drive. WarriorCleric
Do we really have to let the talk of drugs ruin another thread? It's gone a bit beyond humorous, it's just kinda gettign towards sad now. Mister E
WC is right, whats up with the youth today? When I was younger I did stuff for the fun of doing stuff not so I could look cool by talking about it on a public forum. Who do you all think you are impressing? Same with the "I play drunk posts", who really cares?

"How much is this one?" "Ma'am, they're all 7 for 30 dollars" :: picks up same item (from the same table display!) in different color:: "So... how much is this one?" Retail sucks! I have an active social life and I decided to stay home one weekend and drink and mud. I was simply sharing how much fun I was having while I was drunk. chill and quit hating. Chayesh
Mister E is right. If you want to do those sorts of things, that's up to you. I'll remind everyone that this forum caters to all manner of underage minors. While not as restrictive as the PG-13 rules of the game, certainly consider your posts and the audience here. While I'm not thinking that all teenagers, and even the "adults" here, are prudes living sheltered lives, there is something tasteless about bragging about drunken escapades, illegal drug use, and other debauchery that probably quite a few people find distasteful. Please keep such posts to a minimum. Some things are better off staying private.
