depends on your taste. Personal I like it. It shines with g ameplay, and the "heroes quest" but the graphics can feel a bit past date. It does not have t he great defi nation of say Assassins Creed. The ideas are there but it just lacks the crisp appearance yo uwo uld hope out of a game releasing now.

I give it an 8/8.5 out of ten.

P.S. - The sound track is fantastic.

I pretty much agree with Nameless. I enjoyed it, but it's got some flaws that can be annoying - and the graphics are certainly a bit outdated. It's good RPGing, but don't expect to be wowed by it very much.

If you've got Gamefly or some other no-return date rental service, I'd recommend getting it through them rather than buying it. I didn't want to invest in a second playthrough myself, but I still put 50 hours into my playthrough, and probably another 10-20 testing out other classes and playing through the various opening sequences.

I've played it fairly extensively. No way in hell I would pay that much for it.

I played level 20 of each class(three), and they are each individual enough to allow for replaying of the base story. And of course the origin stories are pretty fun.

If you got time, and you want a decent game to play, go for it. Turn the difficulty up, and save often.

BUT i wouldn't spend that much on it.

I want to hear more' date=' I'm on the brink of spending $89.00 on this game. My friends are totally talking me into it.[/quote']

$89.00!!!

It retails at $49 off the best buy shelf here.

It is a fun game, though some aspects are a little weak. An example is how constantly "Blood Magic" is preached as the greatest of evils, even by your own party members, though when I became an "Arcane Warrior " + "blood Mage" my own party didnt even notice. I mean I run around as a translucent knight in heavy armor, shrouded in a flaming aura of blood, casting spells while sucking health out of my teammates to fuel the magic. Yet my healer doesnt even comment on it, though she quickly goes on a tyraid when an npc turns out to be a blood mage in the plot.

The combat system is a little odd at times, baulder's gate is a good example of what to expect. You also have to be smart about setting up the "tactics" of your teammates or you can blow yourself up.

GOTY?

I got DLC (downloadable content) but wtf is GOTY.

I ended up getting the game for free, and have begun playing a elf mage named Iyorvin which so far seems pretty decent, mind you I've only played for less than two hours - I think the fact that I got moderm warfare at the same time would be a contributing factor to the reason why I've only played so little of it.

It reminds me so much of WoW when I'm running about I am constantly pausing the game forgetting it's not the jump button. Lame thing is I made my character look real gay i don't suppose you can change your characters facial features mid game can you?

Alright after spending far more time on this game than I should've, I would honestly say its really not that great. By far the best and most enjoyable part of this game is the origin stories. While the game does play decent the entire time I spent playing this game I couldnt believe that Bioware could have made this game when they put out a far more polished game 2 years ago in Mass Effect.

While the game can be fun, and isnt terrible as far as story-line goes it lacks in every area of gameplay to Mass Effect. Mass Effect has better graphics, more character customazation, and more story-line choices. Maybe I just set my sights high for video games when they are $59 a piece but seriously after playing this game for almost a month exclusively it only left me with a dissapointed feeling that the company rushed this game out, when I know they can do better.

Not enjoying it as much as I thought I would, I've put this game on standby until I finish the campaign in Moderm Warfare.

Seems quite restricted in where you can walk, it's like they want to keep you on this one path, and I know it's small, but it's just a peeve there isn't a jump button.

I was playing this today, and I was in Denerim, and went to the Pearl, and picked "a little of both"

She pulls out two females, two males and two 'females'. You can fk a tranny!

I did NOT fk the tranny, mind you, but it's amusing you can.

that sok, if you pick the one tht says "suprise me" she gets all excited and when you wake up there is a mace called the love toy leaning against the bed. If you click on it you get a message that says "are you sure you want to remember this"
