Imoutgoodbye
I've lost track of the number of clan quests I've done over the past few weeks, but dang, I've never taken this long to get past Inductee.
f0xx
Recieving clan ranks is not automated process, so it can't possibly be broken. My best guess is that your cabal IMM is a bit innactive or you have done a huge number of quests in a very short time. OR you are trying to enter a cabal which is highly populated at the moment i.e. Knight.
Imoutgoodbye
Ah. I thought clan quests could get you to M. My mistake.
Implementor Anume Posted December 24, 2009 Implementor Report Share Posted December 24, 2009 Up to the cabal imm and cabal mort elders / leaders for what they promote.
Bert
side question : how long does it usually take you all to be inducted, or have the message sent after joining a clan? I've got 100 hours now and still waiting. Just curious if that time was a sign of just how bad I suck, not doing something right, etc, or I'm just being impatient. f0xx
Sometimes I have to wait over 100 hours and have more than 30 quests, other times I get inducted the second day I join the clan with only 2 quests fulfilled... *shrug* Same thing applies to cabal promotions. tassinvegeta
I'm actually experiencing the same problem. I'm almost to 50 and still inductee. Not a usual occurrence for me.
Lytholm
It depends on cabal re induction etc. Personally, I have a scoring system I implement: * Lvl 50 is more likely (but I have and will let you in pre-50). * A certain number of quests done (no I won't tell you how many :-P). Its sort of a sliding scale - when I have no members I relax requirement. When I have 1 spot left in the cabal and 23048930482309 clan members I can afford to be more choosey. :-P * Major rewards for when I interact with players - which sounds unfair but if you play teh same time as your IMM that's just lucky. I do try to vary my playtimes as well to see more players. * Major deductions if you're a tool, a douche bag, I see complaints about you every other day from other IMMs or I catch you doing the wrong thing. This should go without saying. I'm mean like this - I'll just double your wait time. The best advice I can give is keep on trucking. I don't care how many hours you log. I think players who play 2 hours a day, 30min a day and 16 hours a day should all be considered. If you have more hours you can get quests faster. I'll probably still make you wait a RT week before induction just to make sure you'll stick around. Thank the washouts who quit my cabal in two weeks after I fast promo'd them for why it won't be happening anymore. Lytholm. PS - all members of my cabal are made Elders of the clan (I have some of you to catch up with....). That's really the only time I give clan promo's. I do keep track of people's progress though so don't think I'm not watching you :-)

Warmongrel
Yeah, I promote them in clan to trusted once they get in. Can't go past that for now, but figure they should atleast be there. I never realized you didn't get promoted auto by doing clan quests though. Then again, I've hardly done clanquests, I usually fall into a position that helps me get fast tracked into the cabal. Ofcourse that position usually leaves me naked for the start of it, which makes for an interesting inductee position, nomatter the cabal.
