Ali_gmud
I need help finding a name of a title of this kids movie, it was one of my favourites as a youngster - but I can't for the life of me remember it's title. I've explained it to several people at work, friends, girlfriend.. and no one has been able to answer, they all know what it is but the name is absent from everyones mind it seems. I'll give you guys a idea if your keen to help me of what this movie was about. it starts of with this boy who visits the library often, something happens and then something happens, he is in the library and the paint on the walls start dripping and then there's a tidal wave of paint and he gets swamped by it. He wakes up and this is where the movie begins in cartoon. The boy then makes friends with 2-3 books which can talk and walk, and he goes on all sorts of adventures, like I think he begins by going to a haunted lab or house, blah blah, the whole time he is following this exit sign in the sky... I don't know, that should be enough. consider this a quick one question quiz.

Ali_gmud
Bravo - I just stood up and announced the name and 2 of the three people just hit themselves in the head for not thinking of it. I feel as if there small empty space in my mind has been filled up again with great childhood memories. I taped that movie when I was kid, and used to watch it all the time (alongside the sandlot kids, neverending story, simpsons first halloween special, chitty chitty bangbang) but yeah, many thanks - I'm heading home in 35mins to go hire it, get blazed and enjoy... hopefully if it still has it's touch. Helsieve
I was abused by my father's lack of protective viewing for me. My classics are Jurassic Park, The Haunting, and Jackie Brown. All viewed between the ages of 7 and 9. But I second the Secret of Nimh and raise you a Fievel Goes West.
