Evangelion
Freaky as sh*t. This movie is the reason I am currently awake.
Celerity
It was one of my choices on a recent flight, but I went with five others instead! District 9 Public Enemy The Time Traveler's Wife Ironman Whiteout District 9 is much better than Avatar in my opinion. I really liked this movie. Public Enemy is not Johnny Depp's best but still worth watching. The Time Traveler's Wife is a lot better than I expected it to be. Made me cry a few times! (on the plane which is kind of terrible) Ironman was very so-so for me. Nothing jumped out at me good or bad. Whiteout just made me cold. Not a very good movie! 5 movies + 1 flight = fun! Helsieve
I thoroughly enjoyed District 9, but nowhere near as much as I liked Avatar. Public Enemy was a little long for my taste, but I thought it was a solid performance by Johnny Depp. Nothing to comment on the Time Traveler's Wife. Still need to see that one. Ironman was extremely well done with the story and special effects. I loved this movie. I heard Whiteout was just a bunch of fighting in big coats that made it impossible to tell what's going on or who's even fighting. Need to see Paranormal Activity yet. Scared you shytless, so... it's good?
Dead Voodoo Doll
District 9 - haven't seen it yet, really want to. Public Enemy - bleh The Time Traveler's Wife - umm yeah, Eric Bana is awful, not even my wife wanted to see this chick flick. Ironman - to me, very entertaining. Thoroughly enjoyed it and I thought Favreau did an excellent job with it except for a few things at the end. RDJr did a heck of a job IMO. Whiteout - really wanted to see this due to its origins but I have only heard bad things about it. Paranormal Activity - just got that yesterday from a coworker, plan on watching it today. Avatar - Dude. I've seen it in IMAX 3D, Real3D, and regular format in the span of nine days. If it were still Christmas vacation I'd still be going to see it. To me its like reading a Greg Bear novel, etc. It has now become my all time favorite escapist dream.
inscribed
District 9 was an amazing movie. Hoping for a District 10!
Imoutgoodbye
I had a chance to watch The Wrestler last night, which I thoroughly wish to see, but my wife noticed Jennifer's Body was out. I don't like "horror" flicks, though I can't really call this a "horror" flick after watching it. So freakin' lame....don't EVER watch it.... Mali
I watched district 9 and paranormal activity the last couple nights. District 9 was very good, and I applaud S. Africa as the shooting location given the history of apartheid there. Paranormal activity was a different type of movie, and though I will say it didn't scare me much, it was interesting to watch. LOL @ Celerity crying on a plane. That sounds more entertaining than either movie. ;p
Dead Voodoo Doll
The Wrestler just made me sad. And I agree with Mali on Celerity Anyone seen The Men Who Stare at Goats or Gentleman Bronco's?

Andre
Booo' date=' and I almost poo'ed myself when I watched the trailer. But that might be because I am not used to scary movies [/quote'] My partner and I were watching it together and laughing the whole way through thinking, when's the good stuff going to happen? We thought when she put her head up in the attick that it would be like the grudge and would see a face pop up, but noo!
jibber
Man.. I hated District 9. I just never liked the whole documentary type movies. Goes for the Blair Witch and other well known 'documentary' movies. Loved Iron man, and I haven't seen the others. I will soon though!
Ali_gmud
Don't hurry yourself, I still haven't seen.. the matrix, pearl harbor, any of the starwars - I'm not stressing over it at all. I enjoyed district 9, as much as I dislike the south affy accent.
Nekky
You don't need to see Pearl Harbour The Matrix is definitely worth seeing, though.

Deykari
I watched Paranormal Activity with my girlfriend in cinema. I wasn't at all impressed, and was pretty bored - not really a scary film, but I did jump at one really obvious point (which I will say nothing about so as not to ruin things, but anyone who has seen it will know which bit I mean). My girlfriend on the other hand, hid behind her hands, refused to watch parts and actually shouted out loud in the part I jumped at, "F***ing F***!" and drew a fair bit of attention from the other viewers. Worth watching just to say that you've watched it - I don't regret seeing it, just wished it was better. Dey
