Arena Items.

I know items from the Arena are rare, and that most creatures in there can give you two different things.

Is it possible for one of these things to be 'out' and impossible to get due to rare restrictions?

Good questions - and I have NFI TBH... I would expect quite possibly - but then what happens when both items are out? Crumble on world shift perhaps?

Logically, the Arena items being Rare would certainly have the same rules applied to them. But then again, who knows.

I have gone through certain arena bouts trying for something , sometimes taking 8 or 9 tries and getting the other item every time. Not sure if those rares are accounted for separately. If not then the winner should just get a sucker and their money back:cool:

The answer is yes and no. You can get the second 'better' item as many times as you want, same with the 'less' better item, except for the Black Dragon. The 'better' item, if around, or on another player, will not be given to you ever. The other items you'll need to work at though, and there's simply no limit (in getting them).

That isn't to say they won't crumble when you die, and that most of the 'better' items are rot-death anyway.

If I may.

Lets examine the red and white staff.

If the "Rat King" was holding more than one, I found it hard to recieve more than a gate stone. After that, I learned to locate the item I was going after first, see how many are currently present before wasting my time. While they are rare items they are not unique, I am uncertain as to the total allowable maybe the Great Eshaine could shed some light on that.

As far as the dart board, All I ever win is a kiss.

red and white staff? I'm sure you mean glimmering staff. Undead Wight? Yeah, you might get a Gatestone here or there, but the Gatestone is the 'better' of the two items that you'll receive. There is not a limit on how many glimmering staffs there can be around.

And as you all know, this staff IS rot-death. So one wrong move and it poofs.

It is also good to carry backups for when you have been blasphemied. I recall killing a pally of yours because once blasphemied a landed blind was the end of it.

Yep, even a communer should carry some Gyvels when fighting a class that can blaspheme. That includes Vlad
