However, I did get to touch the Ancient Banner of Illisidar for the first time. Managed to hold it for a day.

Congrats on setting a delpass. Stop quitting out so fast on everything. Army warfare isn't everything, and you will learn fairly quickly if you have patience. Read the helpfiles.

What good does a delpas if you do this. STICK it out at 50 a bit, log all battles, look at the logs. When you get angry / frustrated just type quit. Make 1-2 day break then come back fresh.

this is not the same valek i'm used to . i know how you feel, every time i make it past 42 i end up getting destroyed by cabal skills and i usually get discouraged and quit. If i just stuck it out and didnt quit i'd have those same skills and be on a level playing field ... Emertis for example the evil minotaur zerker i had.. i coulda went far with him but i let rage delete get the best of me.

Yeah man, you were doing well I thought. The only way to learn to chase, run, pk with the best is to do just that. I wish you didn't do that, because a dwarf blademaster is perfect for learning just that. They last a little longer than the rest in a fight aslong as you got mithril and a sharp glaive, so he was perfect for learning how to do those things well.

I solo the Baron, i solo the other guy. I solo Magic, with the exception of the DemonBoss.

And you can to.

Just roll a Elf Cleric Combat or Guile.

Or a Drow Discord. You can't get an easier time than this in PK.

Valek, I'm EXTREMELY saddened that you deleted this character. Words cannot describe my feelings of disappointment. You were showing so much promise. I'm not trying to be critical of you, as I have also rage deleted, but please ride a character out to con death. You'll learn an amazement amount and you might even surprise yourself with what you can achieve. Good luck with your next.

Why noone beleives she solo's magic? I did it with Byrsypherus and Brendyn all the time, to get hakeashar eye. USUALLY you can luck your way into calming past almost every room. But even when you fail, it's not hard to ray them to death, then sleep up, then continue.

Valek - good shot at 50 life my friend. I would have to say that for those just getting the grip of playing the high stakes game at that level perhaps blademaster was a tad more difficult than some other classes, especially if you are really not familiar with a lot of the equipment. As far as condeathing goes(which I have done) I would say it is not all important. Get another 50 and vow to keep it for say at LEAST one full month, then reexamine if you are enjoying yourself still. If not do not delete just shelf for a bit while you work on another class.

For learning equipment I can honestly say that I learned the most by spending around 200 hrs at 50 with a healer(after a good few 20 or so pinns).

For learning both equipment AND pk and being new to the level of intensity at 50 I would suggest an EVIL cleric, preferrably drow. Do not try for a cabal outright, just have them to meander and pick off the occasional goodie(Nobody likes them anyhow:p ) Congrats at your most recent success, and like ANYTHING else once you have one char at 50, the next will go smoother, and the next after that even smoother, so on and so forth. Keep up the good effort. You will surely do better with a class that is more self reliant and less consumeable based next time around.
