Feral Rule number 2: invokers are not fun.

Heh, depends on if you're a warmaster or not ;) Svenik got defeated by one invoker once. I think I was Member at the time. Feral rangers are perfect for a first time melee'r though, with the mastered defenses, the fire vuln really isn't that bad to side step. There's usually away to get around it ripping you apart too fast.

Good Cleric with portal though is prob best for a first time pker. I would treat portal like teleport though, just to teach yourself to run. Then use it when you feel like you have no choice.

Beasts. Guess I should throw in the time I solo'd Adeptus after my whole party died to him.

I should have done all of gear with Svenik before they fixed it ;) I remember doing it with either Senrail(my first feral ranger warmaster) or a knight elder ogre warrior. I did it with just them and a healer. That was back when it worked right like it does now though. I'm pretty sure it was the Knight, b/c with my staff I wouldn't ever get hit in melee. I think the healer was bored on that trip.

After having been in Gladiator, I'd have to say that if you know your equipment for melees, pretty much any size of warrior with varied play style, you'd be pretty well set and have a lot of fun based on your warrior lore/size of warrior.

Secondly, treat every challenger as unfriendly, even if you're neutral. I died after half of my challenges had ended and I was stunned. Challenges force you into PK situations. Treat it like PK. Choose a large area to run around. I found the more challenges I fought, the more things slowed down for me. However, I seemed to get my *** handed to me by mages/communers...go figure...:P

Thirdly, do we live in the same place with the same ideals? I often find myself at my pit, shivering and naked. ;)

I think the immortals are more prone to giving them to people like us than to the vets' date=' because we've not had them yet.[/quote']

I am starting to think the same too. I've never had a qclass/race and I know others who have been around for much longer who haven't had one too.

oh it's because i haven't tried not because of the immortals. I'm not comfortable making a demon/vampire/lich/undead/psion etc etc untill i know for a fact i will enjoy it and be active with it, because there are limited numbers i wouldnt want to deny anyone else the opportunity.
