Mali
So I finally made the move from MACOS and back to windows 7. Anyone want to tell me whats the best mud client? Hopefully something that can handle macro buttons. Maybe while your at it you can tell me how to do aliases with it as well. Thanks in advance. H&R
MUSH client 4.0 macros and aliases: game->configure->all configuration Only downside is that you can't copy things from it with ctrl+c, you have to right-click.
L-A
Java MUD Client (JMC: Aliases, highlight, colour, macro's, triggers, variables and the list goes on. One of the best clients I've seen (or used) given you have to have some level of knowledge to use it. Try it. You won't be going back. Give me a yell if you need a hand with it. Cheers, L-A

L-A
GMuD is good - but from memory you can't do highlights (I was using tell self from triggers) for certain things. This is a lot better. You also can't do variables - which are what allow some very cool things. For example I have all my alias setup to attack 'prey' which is a variable. I then put the person's name as the variable and all aliases are immediately set for that person alone. If I change target, I simply change the variable. L-A wow, its amazing how much of an edge a change in software can give someone. I know alot of people use highlights which as you stated i dont have access to and that variable stuff would help alot with a ton of things from changing cursed weapons to attacking people. hax! Celerity
zMUD and cMUD are undoubtedly the most powerful of the mud clients... they just aren't free. I've been using zMUD myself for more than 15 years maybe! edit: 14 years!
Lord Antisonic
Portal GT-D Aliases, macros, highlights, nicknames, events(if/then), cartographer(mapping - have to buy full version to unlock more then making 10 maps though) and more, and its free, and the menu system is great... http://www.gameaxle.com/
Mali
MUSH Client was unusable due to lag on windows 7... couldn't get JMC to work either, but thanks for the tips. CMUD seems to be doing the trick.
Venom
For me, the best client is Kmuddy (I use it for Linux), on windows I use zmud.
